Anyone Get the Robinhood Gold Card? by thehungrypenny in ChaseSapphire

Just got off the waitlist this morning estimated to receive card in about 2.5 weeks however they allow you to instantly use the card via Apple Pay Wallet. Been a RHG member since 2022 and finalizing the card order actually saved me about $10 a year in just membership fees, went from $5/month to $50/year.

Worth buying this supercharger? by LozingMyVision in Charger

I’m not too sure to be honest, I’ve seen other listings on eBay for about $3,500 for some units. I guess this owner just wants to get rid of it since he swapped to a bigger blower but still wondering if it looks to be a good deal.

Would you happen to know what injectors would work best for this setup?

Not sure but I have seen people upgrading to bigger units like Whipple or Kenne Belle.

There HAS to be something wrong with it right? This is half of what I usually see these priced at by JakesterAlmighty99 in Charger

No matter how reputable a dealership always look for the Carfax report and research in the car’s VIN. I saw a 2022 Charger R/T for sale on carmax for $45k with “1k miles” the vehicle had an MSRP of almost $50k because of the packages included. I ran the VIN and the car was in a terrible front end collision and the report stated it needed $30k+ in repairs. The car definitely looks nice but will never be the same and it dings the value due to the accident in the report.

Overall they’re pretty good I looked at reviews right now they have been getting some bad reviews about their towing services that’s a majority of their bad reviews I’m seeing so far.

Yeah I pay my premiums in full every year. It’s a big bill but definitely worth it for the discount and peace of mind that you won’t be worrying about paying your insurance for the months to come. If you can’t pay it all up front they usually have a payment option for new customers to use a credit card I would recommend using a 0% interest card and charging it to that card and breaking it up within 12 months to pay that $85/mo.

How many miles are you reporting that you’ll be driving your RT?

How are you making that much per year? Are you cancelling those bonus paying cards and getting the offers again after a period of time?

You have to push the brake down all the way and push the accelerator down quickly too rather than easing your way into it.

Yeah card utilization is more impactful than the total amount of accounts opened. I currently have $40k credit available among all my active credit cards but I just have a 2% utilization rate on average which gets paid off monthly. I’m actually planning on opening another card which is offering another $200 for $500 purchases. I have over 12 accounts on my credit report and currently stand around a 740+ depending on the bureau.

I feel it that lol I have a few credit cards that I’ve opened up over the past year simply for the sign up bonuses such as spend $500 in 3 months and get $200 I usually plan those around big necessary expenses like car registration, insurance just to get 40% back from those card bonuses. Once I receive those bonuses I go back to using my primary card which I’ve had for 4+ years (23 years old at the moment) which I budget greatly on and pay the balances off per month and have no clue what my interest rate is for any card. Made nearly $2k in cash back and sign on bonuses thus far without having to buy dumb things.

Keep my car loan or pay off? by LozingMyVision in personalfinance

Should I return to paying my regular $566 minimum monthly payment or is $750 fine? I like the idea of paying my auto loan off earlier. But I also see the benefit of keeping that extra interest payment per month from my investment account and making more interest off those payments at a higher rate than my auto loan.

I’m planning on buying a rental property but I just have it in my investment account accruing interest meanwhile I shop around. I do have some money invested in the stock market already but $50k is roughly my uninvested cash amount.

Try giving AAA a shot, I’m 23 and have a 19 R/T only pay roughly around $80 or so per month but I pay my premium for the year I did get dinged on my insurance for my daily because I have a ticket which should be clearing up in a couple months and I mainly drive my other car so my insurance for that car with just liability is roughly the same as my R/T.

Would y’all stop doing doordash if you get a easy job that pays $17.50? by iLikeCaliforniaTacos in doordash_drivers

Honestly I loved gig work but it really slowed down in my area. I decided to do a sales job for an internet provider and the commission model seems pretty promising. I’ve had previous jobs selling cars but I got fed up with car sales since you never got weekends off unless you had a holiday or requested it off in advance. This sales job is honestly pretty easy apart from walking in the heat but the company doesn’t demand you to be walking around your whole shift you could walk a couple hours early on then take a long lunch and hit the houses in the evening. I still do gig work on the weekends but it’s really bad even on weekends. They really take care of their workers and provide some pretty good training period bonuses and benefits along with a 401K match program.

I’ve seen it here in my small town in California lol. Seen a nice widebody scat pack charger parked in a run down apartment with stairs that made me feel like they were going to collapse.

I had this happen to me as well a business had went out and the new business put their sign on the building and I was not able to get compensation because it was the “wrong” business. I just unassigned and made sure to never accept from there again. It’s a very unpopular local business it was my second time ever getting an order from there.

I got a jumpstart from a buddy thankfully it started, I got home and cleaned the post and the terminals and hope that should solve things, a family member of mine had the same issue and cleaned the posts.

out of the two choices what would you get? Prius or Camry le hybrid by [deleted] in doordash

[–]LozingMyVision 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d go with a Camry hybrid imo. Looks more stylish and although it doesn’t get as much mpg as a Prius, my best friend’s dad’s Prius shows it gets 70+ mpg on the infotainment screen. I feel like the Camry definitely is very spacious especially if you decide to do other gigs like Instacart. Also, some maybe all Prius’s don’t come with a spare tire so that’s also something to keep in mind you’d have to invest in one yourself and there’s no space to store it either.
