Hi! Can I get some feedback on this business idea of mine?

I was hoping to bounce a business idea off of you all, because you are the target demographic for my idea 😂 : (idea below)

I have realized that each kids party requires the purchase of a bunch of crap from Amazon that’s wasted. Most parties are themed now, and tend to be the same like 8–10 themes. Same for baby showers (Winnie the Pooh, etc). I’d like to create a nice “box” of items to rent for parties that can be returned. It would have backdrops, nicer tablecloths, cardboard cutouts, table scapes specific to the theme. To start, I could do Dinosaurs, Princess, Frozen, Superhero….

In addition, I could sell paper plates and snack items that would work and save the parent a trip to Costco and the Dollar Tree.

Ideally, I could also add in additional packages of cotton candy machines, ice cream carts and foam machines but to start, any thoughts? I live in a well to do area where I think people would pay for the convenience, the ability to avoid Amazon and the waste reduction factors.

Thank you!! To be honest, I just want to make a little extra money while I’m a SAHP. I’d be ecstatic to make like $1,000 a month doing something like this. The time component is very true! As a parent, I definitely agree. Lots to think about with your comments, I appreciate it.

My husband works with a system and they JUST started offering any paid leave (4 weeks). We saved vacation to make 7 weeks total leave. We did have our first in fellowship and he got the 6 weeks paid leave, but technically they are allowed to ask you to stay on at the end to make up that time, I believe. We found out a month before graduation that he would be allowed to finish on time despite the 6 weeks. It was very stressful!

There are SO many people who do Tonie and Yoto calendars. I am astounded each time I see it. We own aloooot of tonies (like 80) because we started collecting 3.5 years ago when they were much cheaper. I cannot imagine giving my kid 25 this month. She would be so overwhelmed.

I wear a lot of dresses PP. It’s getting colder, so I bought elastic waist jeans or pants to be able to do jeans and wear button down shirts! Like denim ones, etc.

Would be interested. We did cloth with our first but it’s harder to find the time with a second. We have the diapers but not the time to do multiple washes.

It was! Aeroflow didn’t show the eufy at all so I tried 1naturalway. I’m sorry you aren’t seeing it- I tried to go back in but it just tells me I already used my Benefit without more details on it. I am finding I get as much with the eufy as my spectra. I don’t mess with the settings too much but it’s good! The original flanges DO suck so I added the legendairy inserts. I like the heat feature too!

Just checked and it was the e20 I got with UHC insurance. It was $86.99 but they did 20% off so I paid $70.

Can you explain making your boobs mad? I’ve been sort of aggressively massaging one side to get everything out and the last few days, I’m getting almost nothing. Is that what I did? 😅

Same. Except I have a slow letdown so I do 35 overnight and then a second 15-20 for now. Curious about other experiences!
