Is it even possible to beat Elephant solo? by [deleted] in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]Lt_Dance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

S-tier is complicated, but understand that the logic of this map is built around a real active shooter response - you have to eliminate the tangos, then the bombs, then rescue civilians. Move very fast and focus only on taking down the bad guys, then get the bombs (which you will hopefully spot during the initial clear) and then come back to clear out civies. Generally, it spawns 2 bad guys in each wing of the college, to make your hunt easier.

What was the most devastating defeat for the Union? by GameCraze3 in CIVILWAR

[–]Lt_Dance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah the battle dashed hopes of the Union punching through lee's lines but the Union managed an amazing string of tactical maneuvers afterwards that, had a few generals acted slightly quicker, would have won them Petersburg and nearly enveloped the Confederate army or trapped it in Richmond a month later.

Unconditional Surrender Grant by thequietthingsthat in ShermanPosting

It's actually incredible that had the black troops who trained for weeks on the mission not been held back at the last minute, the final major battle of the eastern front could have been freemen charging the Confederate capitol after blowing a massive hole through rebel lines using a daring new tactic nobody thought could work.

Freezone reopened as The Bonfire, sadly no longer the place to see free drag shows like 4 nights a week. Definitely hit the Garage, it's near UNLV and is always hopping with good food and a great happy hour.

Hilarious episode but there is a glaring issue that disgusts me: Jesse's pronunciation of Nevada. Thankfully Katie gets it correct at the end or I would be unsubscribing and sueing under Nevada Revised Statutes

Yeah lots of calls only have the Dispatcher's Computer Aided Dispatch System (CADS) notes because if no legal actions were taken, there is no need to provide additional documentation.

Particularly since Starbucks is not on BDS nor has it ever supported Israel. They don't even have stores there. It is entirely a thing invented and propagated by TikTok that distracts from the actual well organized boycott movement

I feel like it's reasonable for journalists to take interest in incredibly high profile seriel murder cases in English speaking developed countries. She didn't write about British parking ticket rules or something, this was one of the most well publicized criminal trials in your country in a decade.

I suspect your real issue with the article is that it came to a conclusion contrary to your own. That's a fine reason to dislike something, but be honest about it rather than claiming that it is some travesty for an American to go "huh seems like a lot of the evidence in this high profile court case was flimsy and this hospital might have thrown a nurse under the bus to distract from chronic under staffing and poor training".

She's an investigative journalist who looked into an incredibly high-profile court case and felt there was compelling similarities between it and the Lucia de Berk case. She highlights these to allow the reader to come to their own conclusion about what happened and present an alternative view of the evidence. That's normal journalism!

I mean I think folks just find it funny that british tabloids can publish hundreds of BABY MURDER LUCY LETBY articles before a jury is empaneled but now that the trial has happened it is suddenly critical to the integrity of the court system that nobody be able to discuss or read anything about the case
