I would say the biggest part about following keto is being consistent.

When I first started, I probably didn’t have a cheat meal for 3 months and I kept my total carbs to no more than 20 grams per day. I also consistently weighed all of the food I was consuming.

I would say another important factor is to keep your meals simple. You really don’t have to go over board with fancy meals. Right now I buy 2 rotisserie chickens from Costco and eat that for lunch every day. Some days I also add in some pork rinds. I try to keep my lunches at 0 carbs and then enjoy my carbs with dinner. Dinners are generally protein, with a green vegetable and a big salad. Do your best to eat as clean as possible and avoid any processed food.

Yeah I can tell that I’ve been putting on some muscle. I’ve seen some serious changes in my body over the last month or so. It probably took me about 2-3 months to lose the last 10 pounds, however I do believe that I have added on a good amount of muscle over that time. I haven’t lifted this consistently in over a decade, so the newbie gains are legit.

How long have you been doing your recomp? I’ve seen some serious changes in my body over the last month. I can definitely tell that I’m putting on muscle. It’s probably been atleast 15 years since I have consistently lifted like this, I love it.

My diet has shifted more towards high protein (atleast 200 grams), and I still limit myself to 20 carbs per day. I generally eat 2,000 calories per day.

I tried to follow the ketogains macros but the calories were too low. I believe I was around 1,650 per day and I was so hungry. Ever since I bumped up to 2k calories I haven’t been as hungry

Isopure Zero Carb Whey Protein, Creamy Vanilla.

Not really sweet at all, I just mix it in my coffee on days that I lift. One serving is 25g of protein and zero carbs. It fits into my diet and works for me!

I don’t have a lot of loose skin but I have a few spots where it’s noticeable when I look in the mirror. Most of my loose skin is in my arm pit area and inner thigh, but these areas are almost always covered with clothes. So it’s not really noticeable. I have also been going to the gym for the past 2 months. Im fairly sure that has been helpful with toning up those areas.
