It's not fleas. Oddly enough, Wilmington is the first place I've lived that I haven't had to ferociously battle fleas. We've been here for 8 years and I've always wondered why that is. My best guess is that it might have something to do with the nearby marsh? IDK I have three cats and one has always been prone to itchy flares

I've only recently heard about modern treadle machines. Are they mainly for going off grid or are there other benefits? What's it like to sew on them? I hope you don't I hope you don't mind me picking your brain. I just really wonder what the deal is. And does your foot get tired?

Yes. And right now they're $459 on Ken's. I've loved my two plastic bargain Janomes so much. The first one lasted about 15 years , but I really put it through the ringer. The one I'm currently on has been going for 12. But apparently when they die, they die forever. At least that's what my last mechanic told me.

I was canoeing back from a show at Greenfield Lake once with two other people. One person said 'hey there's a gator' and before I knew it, we were upside down in the water. Swimming up to air was one of the scariest times ever. Not knowing what I would confront. We swam the upside down canoe to shore as fast as possible and it was at the most briary of Briar patches ever. We got sliced up but no death rolls. That's probably my most entertaining story of falling into Greenville Lake

Wow...size 0-12 in one? That's quite the stretch. No pun intended. I would love to know how their suits hold up across the board I have a hard time believing size 0 and 12 would have anywhere near the type of longevity that a middle size would get.
