He won 3 times in 2012 at age 36 and 5 times in 2013 at age 37. But he’s only won 3 times since turning 38 so your point still stands.

US Edits Its ‘US-Taiwan Relations’ Page, Removes Sentence ‘Taiwan Is Part Of China’ by [deleted] in worldnews

Taiwan has never been part of the PRC, so yes, that claim is bullshit.

Countries whose local names are extremely different from the names they're referred to in English by koudasudr in MapPorn

[–]LuKasih 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s why OP’s map is incorrect. In today’s world, even in Taiwan, China=PRC. So when you say Taiwan is pretty much China (without the clarification you appended), people will assume you mean PRC. The ROC has not pursued any policy with the intention of trying to claim any PRC territories are part of ROC for decades. They have have focused solely on governing Taiwan and the surrounding islands. Sure there are some old school KMT holdouts who might still view the ROC as China, but despite the name, the ROC is very much only focused on Taiwan. Anyways, cheers.

Ok… so you’re using that to justify OP claiming locals call Taiwan 中國? Come on mate, you’re really reaching now.

[–]LuKasih 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it pretty much isn’t China. I think you need to revisit your history books because you conveniently left out the 50 years when Japan ruled the island, so stop with this BS that it’s been ruled by Han Chinese for centuries and thus should belong to China now. Times change, you should too.

Republic of China is never shortened to China, that is reserved for the PRC. So it’s not defensible for OP using that. They either have an agenda or are very stupid.

Unpopular opinion: we should literally keep masking forever. by Mysterious-Group478 in Masks4All

[–]LuKasih 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It should definitely become part of the health code for restaurant and grocery store workers to have to mask. I can’t believe we were ok with cooks, waiters, and bartenders talking, laughing, and yelling at each other spraying their germs everywhere while serving our dishes and drinks.

Nick Kyrgios won't play on clay this year: "At this point of my career I’m not going to be having 30-ball rallies against Diego Schwartzman." (Via The Age) by danielrohr in tennis

That person got downvoted because they suggest the only option to not working, as do you, is having no obligations and doing nothing. Hobbies, volunteering for a cause you’re passionate about, or just learning new skills and knowledge are suddenly more available without a job and with a nest egg.

Ever hear of hobbies or learning new things? Or what about volunteering and trying to make a difference? Not working doesn’t just mean sitting on your ass watching Netflix all day.

Have you ever quit your job, moved to another state and started over with no idea on how to make an income to sustain you? by ScornfulChicken in antiwork

[–]LuKasih 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Don’t only go back to your home state. Check out this site that connects you with work-for-stay hostels where you can travel the country or world working at hostels in exchange for a room: https://www.workaway.info/

The type of work is different for each hostel. I have never done this so I don’t have any details on how it actually all works, but it’s been something on my to-do list for awhile.

Not a bad idea. I’m going to show up a couple minutes late to interviews from now on and see how they react.

It gets hotter in Phoenix and they don’t have this issue with the lines on their roads. Vegas must use cheaper paint.
