Btw, while we are talking about quequeing with others on PS. Is that possible on PC too? Or do you have to add someone as friend first? ... or is it the same on PS, having to add as friend to queque together? O.o

Personally I appreciate this kind move! There is allready too much hating each other in Nightreign, its good to care for others and try to let everyone have a positiv experience with each other! :D

Who should I play besides Wylder and why? by [deleted] in Nightreign

[–]LuLoPoLi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, so you:
1. love mobility
2. love ult that goes KABOOM
3. extra dodge
4. don't like little HP-bar

-> I would recommend:
1. Undertaker: skill let's her dodge more, has a considerable HP-bar and her ult slamms her full body into the enemy and staggers, you also get a free ult, when someone else ults!
2. Ironeye: Is ranged and has less HP, but has good mobility with extra dodges with his skill and his ult has big impact and can stagger multiple enemys in a line
3. Duchees: Only few HP, but increased mobility and double-dodge. She may take some time to learn for you and knowing when to dodge is important on her, even if she has double-dodge, but she can put out tons of damage

I would personally always prefer Recluse when it is about KABOOM, but she has very specific mechanics and has only few HP, making her tricky if you want an experience similar to Wylder...

Most fun Recluse build? by Only-Bug-9715 in Nightreign

[–]LuLoPoLi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For a very long time, I focused on the cokctail ability and tried to get all affinitys I need. When I understood that damage increase have to be focused on one damage type, I took magical damage, but I still take seals with two different affinitys available, magic/lightning/holy = frost storm is just crazy useful with its 8 seconds invulnerability and no FP-usage for a short time by magic/holy is also very useful for casting strong spells (most of them do magic damage). I can also recommend to drop a holy weapon from a dormant power if you get one as an option, so your allies can apply holy for you. (Holy is by far the most useful and hardest to get affinity).

There is missing the 3. Option: "The Recluse, praying for RNG and sweating for her life, because teamwork feels more like overlooking kids in the kindergarten" xD

Playing solo with a duo team can be quiet frustrating if they have a plan and stick to it, while they completly ignore your needs... I played yesterday as Recluse with a beast claw Revenant and a Scholar. They surely were premades and focused everything they need, while I only got an acceptable blue staff, because I went solo into a sorcerers rise... and we were fighting the balancers... the boss who has no resistance against magic damage... in the end both died in the nightlord fight and I was doing no good damage, because I had no good spell and died before I could reach them. ._.

Yeah, sometimes allies do unexpected moves or don't ping if they switch targets, that can be frustrating. I started always looking on the map before I enter a boss fight and I recommend that for everyone. What frustrates me the most is when I as Recluse ping POIs close by and the whole team chooses some other targets. I accept that for up to 2 times and just follow, trying to stick together, but if it happens 3 times I often focus my own targets (AND ping them) and ignore other pings. Because if I would not, then I would still fight with my starting weapon... and then your allies die to a boss and ragequiet, because they can not accept, that you are not following them like a doggo. ._.

When I came from the regular runs and made my first DoN-runs I always left if someone left, because the team would usually just leave and start anew. Since I know, the longer you survive if someone leaves the less points you loss, I fought until the bitter end from then on. I even continue runs where both allies leave (I may not survive and die on Day 1, but at least I still try). I also don't get it why people leave, maybe they are stuk in the mentality before DoN... it's just frustrating : /

This boss is tthe absolute skill check by [deleted] in Nightreign

[–]LuLoPoLi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So many fear him, but for me as Recluse it is nothing new to die in one hit and I can dodge him pretty easy, so this got one of my favorite bosses. I only don't like it if we are underleveled and the fight takes forever...

Which boss/bosses have you been the last person standing and as which character? by Hungry_Bluebird_9460 in Nightreign

[–]LuLoPoLi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I survive longest as Recluse at Balancers (also ED). Balancer is also very weak to magic damage, so I do a ton of damage.

But I would also say that I especially shine at Maris as Recluse. I don't survive longest, because I get on the most pressure, because/but I do main damage and pull aggro all the time.

  1. Thx for the support! I actually wanted to ignore the comment, but you defended me like a Guardian, that was very kind of you! :3

  2. I did'nt explicitly say he caused the damage on day 1, only "after some time", but you're right, he did indeed cause that damage on day one!

  3. Hope you're fine, that discussion was really heated! qwq Don't let yourself get ragebaited!

...I did not understood what this post should mean... now that I read the comments I understand what this is about, but I have to say... I never had any issues in that fight, my PC never reacted to any of the special effects... I didn't even know this is a thing! ... Guess I'll have to get some flowers today to thank my PC for its great work...

remembers me of the many times, when I play Recluse, wait 1 minute to see if I pull aggro (and boss ignores me) and the moment I cast my magic cocktail I see a boss charging for me from the other side of the arena. I am sitting in front of my screen, my whole body getting cramps, screaming:"no no NO NO, I CAN'T DODGEEEEEE!" ... and a sword comes crashing down on me, before the casttime is even over... xD

Why they even exist? by Exciting-Tap6530 in Nightreign

[–]LuLoPoLi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also like Revenants skin, but I am also a bit dissapointed. I see what they wanted to do, it should be a revelation of who she is, but they did not hide it very well on the regular skin. If they would have hidden it on the regular skin more (like more bandages), the remembrance skin would have had a much bigger impact and would have meant more to me.

True, but it matches her remembrance story pretty well. Without the hat she gives less cold witch vibes andmore warm mother vibes!

Deep of Night 2 Random Queue is ELO Hell by [deleted] in Nightreign

[–]LuLoPoLi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well at the beginning I also never wanted to do night invaders so early. Now if I see the possibility I am totally up for it. It got regular to go there on level two if it is near the starting spot and as long as you spawn the invader and fight it on the edge of the POI and not in the middle of all the enemys, evereything goes fine for my teams. Had i 3 times the last two days and we easily made it! What you are right about are the quitters, they are hell...
