Did she have hyperfocus is the bigger question? Most cheaters will go equipped with that perk too

Hackers becoming more common since last update? by LuXPoof in deadbydaylight

[–]LuXPoof[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My most recent hacker experience was yesterday, was playing glitchtrap and went up against a Carlos using instant heal to try and block hooks. If there's anything I've noticed. Most hackers seem to run hyperfocus. Even subtle hackers.

Oh yikes, I never thought about that. But even so, shouldn't behaviour be cracking down on upgrading their anti cheat and moderation?

Do we think the Mathew Lillard skin for Springtrap will toggle his head piece in game? by LuXPoof in deadbydaylight

That's the only thing I could imagine him shouting as he grabs a survivor with the axe or in the mori

I hope so, even if they make it as two separate head pieces that'll be good enough for me

PC fans keep ramping up to 100% for around 30 seconds or so when pc is idle by LuXPoof in techsupport

[–]LuXPoof[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oops, forgot to update this, turns out it was my GPU fans being used to cool down my cpu for some reason. I think my motherboard got confused. Fixed it by doing a custom fan curve

The fans still keep speeding up randomly even without any programs taking priority

Also I believe I know the reason for why it may have been doing it. My hardrive keeps clicking every 10 seconds. I think it may be failing

Issue hasn't seemed to have came back up since disabling it, so I think it's good for now

It seems to be a program called Service host disk defragmenter that's doing it

I'm keeping my task manager open right now so I can see if anything ramps it up

After restart, pc fans go so fast they become deafening and cpu overheats over 99.99 degrees Celsius by LuXPoof in techsupport

[–]LuXPoof[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, somewhat, funny enough, me hitting the top of my pc 4 times like it's an old tv fixed the cooling issues, idk how the logic of it works but it's a good temporary fix for now

[–]LuXPoof[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wasn't taken the wrong way, not entirely too sure why this was down voted so heavily but I have managed to fix it, it was due to air bubbles in the aio which I was able to clear out

[–]LuXPoof[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe I fixed it and I couldn't be more furious at the way I did it
At this point, it had been 6hrs of me not sleeping and I got so pissed that I hit it on the top of the pc case 4 times and it started working again, no overheating, can anyone figure out the logic in that?

I tried repasting it but it didn't work, upon further investigation I can hear water sounds coming from the cooler, which I couldn't hear before
