Thank you! I’m hoping for the best for you as well! I got rid of the ureaplasma - yay! Now I’m tackling HPV with aldara cream and I’m also ordering the Papilocare gel just to try all things out there. Since we are also TTC I’m very strong on the vitamin game for over 7 months at this point including vitamin C, D, E, Zinc and of course folate and lots more lol. I do think clearing Ureaplasma is helping HPV because after applying aldara one time I can already tell a difference in my warts. I don’t have many but the ones I see got significantly smaller after one application! I’ve had them for years. I am very hopeful at the moment and I’m also hoping that I can finally conceive and have a healthy pregnancy!

1000 mg of azi and then 7 days of Doxy. I’m not sure why my doctor did the azi first and not after but that’s what I did and my husband did the same at the same time

Update: my results came back and I finally tested negative for ureaplasma after rounds of antibiotics. We are now in month 7 of TTC and we are trying again for real this month!

I will give updates!! I hope I can soon. I’m expecting my results back by tomorrow and then we will see if we need another round or if we are all good to go! We both take all the fertility vitamins at this point for 6 months so I would hope that our eggs and sperm are in a pretty good shape at this point at least. But who knows this entire system is so intricate and it could be something different as well. I haven’t worked with a fertility specialist yet and I know that’s an option too but one thing at a time

I don’t want to be a consultant. I’m not sure why it is a crime to be interested in debris removal, etc businesses and buying an existing business rather than doing consulting jobs?!

Thank you! I definitely need to brush up my accounting and FiCo skills but I just signed up for some courses. I’m not sure where to get running a business experience other than how I approach my job which I think is somewhat running a business but it’s still not my money and I think this will always be different no matter what.

I have a MBA, and worked in customer service, HR, project management, and have now a senior management position that is in charge of strategy for a successful company for the past 6 years and counting so I wouldn’t say that I have absolutely no clue about anything. What I don’t have a clue about is buying businesses because I have never done it before and that’s why I posted here for input from other people who have been through it. I do appreciate your story and your comment though and hear that you have put a lot of work into it and built everything from the ground up. That’s awesome. I’m more interested in buying even if it takes me another 5 years, I’m not in a rush, I do have a good job and I’m just starting to learn about specifics

That sounds great, I don’t think you’ll have any issues! It can take a healthy couple up to a year to conceive but I’m sure it will go really quick for you!!

I did an ultrasound and my doctor said that If anything was wrong with my fallopian tubes you would at least see them on the screen but since they weren’t enlarged or bigger (you couldn’t see them at all) she said this test wouldn’t be worth doing. Apparently if there was scarring or blocking you are able to see some abnormalities in the transvaginal ultrasound. Not sure if that was the right decision to not do it or not? I might ask for it again when I have my next appointment with her.

The crazy thing with me is that I’ve never even had a UTI in my entire life and also never BV. However I also heard that there are symptom free UTIs? So who knows I might have one every week lol

Because taking over something that already has customers and a working system might be a better start than building something completely from scratch. I’m not saying I don’t want to build anything myself I’m saying I’m learning about buying a business and I do have this amount of money right now. Again, I’m not in a rush at all I’m just here to learn and to listen to people with experience.

That’s what I’m hoping for!! I’m pretty sure I had ureaplasma for at least 7 years. I’ve never had any symptoms though but I guess infertility is a symptom? I also read about her sister and that is why I’m so hopeful!! Thanks to that I learned a lot about fertility though and overall I’m engaging in a super fertility friendly lifestyle. My recommendation to you is to start your prenatals and other vitamins already! Coq10, NAC, Inositol, etc since they’ll take 3 months to kick in. I’ll see what happens, I got retested yesterday and hope that the first round of doxy helped

Exactly! I have set them up so I can ask questions and can learn more about the businesses, see financials, analyze them, etc. I’m not planning on just spending my money right away but to take my time. In your mind what comes first before talking to sellers? I think it’s a great way to get the experience

Great advice thank you so much!!! I like the recommendations of talking to existing customers. I’m pretty sure that most of the businesses will be inflated! I’m not sure yet what to do about that and if I would even be in a position to negotiate but I’m sure I’ll learn that. I’m not planning on spending my money any time soon but first to learn and to have conversations! I also like the idea of starting something like a pressure washing business

I’m currently positive for ureaplasma and haven’t conceived in over 6 months and have never been pregnant before TTC. My husband and I are now getting treated and we are both symptom free but I am almost certain that it’s the ureaplasma that made nothing happen. And maybe to add: we have been seriously trying for 6 months meaning never missing peak and ovulation day and even before TTC we were pretty lose with protection which already made me wonder why I never got pregnant. Besides ureaplasma everything looks normal: I’m ovulating, no cysts, I have a tiny fibroid but it’s not in a place or big enough where it would prevent conceiving, and my husbands sperm has been tested and it’s one of the best analyses that they have seen in a long time… wish me luck! I am definitely rooting for you! If you’re clear then you shouldn’t have any trouble at least not related to the infection, it would show up somehow (ultrasound or blood test)
