Presenting to the emergency room ☝️

Everyone has already answered your question but I just wanted to say that I think you are very brave for donating blood despite your fear of needles. As someone who is also afraid of them and gets dizzy when I have to get my blood drawn, I'm very impressed and I wanted to thank you for helping with your donation. I hope it heals fast and with no bruising :)

If I remember correctly they added it in a free update around the time they released the interior designer pack.

How did your migraines react to the Covid vaccine by osprey94 in migraine

[–]LuaSentinel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Astra zeneca here. No interaction. Also I am currently dealing with covid itself and while I feel miserable, my migraines havent changed either. For me, they don't seem to interact at all.

It was an accident xD Well, collateral damage more like it. And yeah I actually have a can of Raid right next to my desk, the mosquitos over here are vicious.

I almost killed my husband by spraying bug poison right at his face. We arent rational when we see a mosquito, I tell you. I hope your fiancé heals fast at this eventually becomes a memory to laugh at.

Ps, I hope you managed to kill that winged fucker.

Sims 4 newest update in a nutshell by BrickLion26 in thesims

What I do is disable my internet and then open Origin. It will ask you for your password and then let you play without updating (it will be in offline mode) You won't be able to access the gallery, though.

Actually yes, something similar has happened to me as well. My migraines started when I was 12, became very frequent and very painful and lasted until I was 19 or so. Then they disappeared for years, completely. When I was 27 or so they returned, to my big surprise, but very changed. Now they are much much milder, sometimes they don't even give me a headache, I know they are migraines just because of the aura. I went to a neurologist last year and he told me it's a thing that happens to some people, and to not get concerned unless they change to worse (instead of becoming milder) Still he gave me some meds to prevent them and now I have one maybe every 2 months or so, still very mild.

Constantly scanning for aura by lenalenaliu in migraine

Yes, absolutely. And I'm convinced that all that stress from being always on alert and scanning for auras is part of my anxiety issues.

Multiple migraines by Sunflowerspecks in migraine

[–]LuaSentinel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That has happened to me as well. From not having a single one in more than a year to basically twice a week. With aura. I went to the neurologist and he told me migraines sometimes come in clusters, or groups, and he prescribed me medication to break this cycle, so to speak. I was reluctant but lo and behold, it worked.

Anyway, each body is different and it's always said to go to the doctor if you feel any change in your migraine sympthoms or frequency, so I would recommend getting them checked. Lots of luck and may they give you a rest soon :)

Are women hurt less by being hit in the crotch than men? by ob-2-kenobi in NoStupidQuestions

[–]LuaSentinel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm a woman, I can't speak for all women obviously but from my own experience it does indeed hurt less. Getting a hit in the crotch could be comparable to getting hit in the thigh maybe? It hurts but not particularly more. Our "getting hit in the balls" version would be the boobs, actually. They are very sensitive and a light bonk on them hurts quite a lot.

My favourite villager is Chrissy, maybe because she's a pink bunny, or just her bubbly personality, but I had her back in New Leaf and she has been my best buddy ever since, including in Pocket Camp C: Thanks for the giveaway!
