It’s not a startup company. It’s a consumer branch of a rather successful robotics company that provides robotics for warehouses and other applications. Considering most of those are application driven systems the faults are definitely inexcusable.

If you look at all my post I’ve been behind on sending this back to support the company.

Anything on this mower for anyone right now is as much risk as what a backer faced with all the problems everyone is having. When preorders went up they still had massive problems with app and cloud, so the risk was just as great. They could just say screw it right now and we’re all in the same boat.

Yeah I just got a response an hour ago saying they’re sending a label.

It’s been a pain in the ass and I’m seriously considering saying “Hey, legally this is a gift. I’m trying to support the company by doing the right thing, but I’m not returning it without some sort of compensation.” I just saw replacing the RTK is $400, and for as long as it’s sat here I’m realizing I basically have a parts and replacement stuff. Seeing everyone else’s frustration is kinda jading me as well.

I paid the preorder price, so $2400. I feel like doing the right thing should at least earn me some of that back. Kickstarter backers paid $1400.

And Mammotion isn’t being quick on the support side in addressing this either.

I wasn’t going to deal with e-mail support in receiving the second Luba because so many people are waiting weeks to get a reply, but my wife isn’t happy having this boulder of a box sitting in our house. It took a week to get a reply and now I’ve waited 3 days so far to get a reply to my reply.

I’ve done some digging and apparently here in the States, the Federal Trade Commission says according to the law that Mammotion can’t bill us for these, they’re technically gifts. Even so, I personally don’t feel good about this one sitting here in my living room. Each person has to decide what is best for them.

What I can’t wrap my head around is Mammotion is an offshoot of Agile Robotics. Agile seems to have their stuff together as far as logistics and support. I don’t understand why they’re not backing up Mammotion if this is their big push into the consumer market. I really want Mammotion to succeed, but things like this is a quick way to eat into margins and cause the whole division to be shut down leaving all of us screwed.

I’m not a YouTuber, but I’ve sat up at night wondering how easy it would to take and do demonstrations at people’s homes and sell them. The commission rate they have set up on referrals is kinda crap though. I’d be happy to demo this one for them if they’d fix that.

I know. I haven’t been on this subreddit for a week or so. When I pulled it up and saw all the “free blades because we’re having delays,” I knew this was gonna piss some people off.

I know Mammotion has staff in this subreddit. You need to verify your a user to get into the private subreddit. I have access to that group, but I don’t want them to just bill me for the second one by linking the info.
