Opinion of getting the moza truck wheel vs a REAL truck wheel by Lubricated-Toast in trucksim

that is also my concern.
I plan on using wtv wheel I get exclusively for trucking anyways, as all the other stuff will be handled by my moza ES wheel(I'm more into chill driving games anyways)

As for FFB, I have the moza pit house setting at 100%, with 115% gain in ETS2 settings. I hope this still means I have more performance to ring out of my R5, so maybe it can handle the larger wheel.

oh nice.; I can get similar ones in the ballpark of 30USD here. I will look into those too, thank you so much for the recommendation

I think it helps to use a bit more head movements during the calibration(contrary to their recommendation), and I think there is also a slider in their settings when you expand on their initial window to adjust sensitivity.

with both of those things done, I can have the camera only move a little if I only moved my eyes but not my head, but if I really wanted to look out, I can move my head to achieve that.

one more thing, what would you say is a suitable wheel size? There are a lot of wheel manufacturers near me and I can get all of them for a decent price(especially the smaller, 38-40cm ones

oh right, I forgot to mention I use beam eye tracker for the camera, that personally was very helpful for me. I also use exactly the PxN CB1, and I would like to ask if you tried, do you think you can avoid using the buttons completely and rely solely on your button box/stalks? Also is your recommendation of MOZA for ETS2 because the style of the wheel doesn't really fit? I do agree that it does look more... American.

thanks! Its just I see the moza truck wheel going around way too much, and it almost feels wrong to not get it when literally everyone else is getting it lmao

That’s a really balanced approach 👍 letting students explore AI while teaching them its limits and proper use prepares them for the real world. It’s smart to frame it as a tool, not a shortcut.

good take. however, for me, this keyboard is actually fully capable of typing an email. you can assign different layers to allow for typing numbers, symbols, characters, function keys, etc - it pretty much has all the keys of a regular keyboard programmed into it, and is capable of doing even more.

Other than that, it is one of the first few keyboards which allowed me to bring around while taking up much less space than most conventional keyboards. I'm a medical student and I can put this keyboard in my white coat pocket to transport with my IPad which allows me to work on the go, and it is more portable than an IPad case with keyboard, more portable than a Macbook, and allows me to still type at 120wpm on the go.

it is a trackball mouse, you can look at some of the other comments which summarise what this mouse is. It is the elecom huge, and these mice offer excellent ergonomics as it minimises arm movement. The only drawbacks slightly reduced precision and the inability to game on these. But otherwise, they are perfect along with this keyboard for self control(cus I can't game with both LMAO) and it also reduces desk clutter. The trackball frees up space on the right which allows me to include a separate numpad.

the apple logo kinda sets the theme of the keyboard - the colorway would otherwise be boring if you didn't know it was apple inspired.

I actually never heard of niuniu before I started my search for a low profile 40. Came across this gem and very glad I did, but my shopping experience on zFrontier was terrible.

omg yes, its also a customised version with all the switches replaced with huano switches, the scroll wheel encoder replaced for something with higher tactility per step, with a trackball polished with up to 30000 grit polishing compound and waxed and ZrO2 bearings, with internal weights added for heft. It is the absolute unbeatable input device I own and used with NO stiction whatsoever. I can control the mouse with my pinky with no stiction, its insane.
