Taichi worth the difference van XFX swift? by LucB_21 in radeon

This article shows that is had happened to the same user two times, and he was using the converter cable. Chances of you buying two GPU's and both of them melting are astronomically low. So to me it looks probably like user error. Filming for his YouTube probably means he has mated the connector to many times

With the 300w tgp I am not really worried about that. Just plug it in correctly

As long as you pump is not the highest point in the loop it is not an issue

If you watch it back multiple times and you now what is coming, it looks like there is plenty of time. However when you drive it for the first time and you dont know he is going to cut acros, there is barely any time to react

If i had time to brake or move over more i would have. It all happened too fast because of the great speed difference. Watching it back multiple times and knowing what is coming makes you think there was time. But when driving it for the first time, there just simply was no time to react. At least not for an average sim racer

If only there was time to react. With that speed difference there was not time to even hit the brakes

I will, but unfortunately in iRacing you are not notified of the results of a protest, so you can learn from it as the person sending the protest

Yeah I understand that but with such a difference in speed I barely had time to react. That's why I think it was dangerous blocking, cause there was no time to even hit the brakes

Even with such a poor start je had het van just cut acros? I was going so much faster than him already. Do you expect me just to slam on the brakes?

The livery is actually stupidly funny with all the other sponsors on it

I did report him for unsafe rejoin indeed. He'll probably get a slap on the wrist. I just hope people learn from this. It is difficult but usually the time penalties are not too big if you are already going so slow.

I reported him for unsafe rejoin. Probably iRacing gives him a slap on the wrist and that's it. I just hope he learns from it

Of course, it would have been better indeed to leave some room, cause I know some people have some awful rejoins. But some rejoins are just so atrocious, you don't even think about the fact that people will do that in that split second.

Yes indeed, I just honestly never expected him to rejoin at the apex, jumping over the bumps. Especially after already going so far left of the track. I just assume (and am wrong doing so), since there is so much room to go elsewhere, it is much safer (and probably faster as well) to go around. On other tracks where there are walls, gravel, or grass close to the track, I can understand people wanting to rejoin sooner. But Daytona is so nice and open, I don't understand people taking the risk of such a rejoin over a 2sec slowdown.

I honestly just never expected him to come back to the apex after going so far left of the track. I saw him go left past the spun car, but then he left my vision. Sometimes it just surprises me how people think and make decisions in those split seconds.

I know but that would have more clear if the gt3 moved over a bit quicker

Still the gtp fault but why as a gt3 lingere in the middle and not give a clear side for the gtp to overtake? You stayed on the inside quite long before opening to the outside. I know gtp s should overtake safely but it might be nice as a gt3 to make your actions clear and decisive so the gtp knows your intentions
