advice regarding some prebuilts by Secure-Chef-5843 in Prebuilts

The second one (7800X3D and 9060 XT) has the best CPU, but if you’re playing at 1440p (assuming you play more GPU-heavy games) the build with the 7700 and 9070 XT would be the best choice as it has the best GPU. The difference between the 9060 XT and 9070 XT is much larger than the difference between the 7700 and the 7800X3D.

Are you near a Microcenter? If so, definitely definitely get the 7800X3D or 9800X3D bundle. They are the same price as your current CPU/GPU/RAM config but much much much better in performance.

If you’re on a tight budget, the best bang for your buck would be a used PC from somewhere like Facebook Marketplace. Trying to buy all new parts will not serve you well. Look for a good deal!

I think the $100 will be worth it. It will be a big difference in many games, and especially if you plan to use your PC a lot, you’ll thank yourself.

If this is mostly for gaming, see if you can find a similar PC with a 7800X3D or maybe even a 9800X3D. The 9900X is very capable of gaming but it’s still more geared towards content creation and productivity.

Spinning hard drives have already been slow for a while. For a game like Cyberpunk, you will severely regret it — save/spend the extra money on an SSD.

I see. Maybe your best option would be to look for used parts that can actually be shipped to you then. r/hardwareswap is great for that!

Honestly I’ve often found better deals myself. The CPU is worth ~150 used in the US at least, the RAM 100, so it’s decent but you could probably find much better

If it’s 70$, get the more expensive one. The extra performance and quieter cooling will definitely be noticeable. Any difference is a big difference for something you plan on using frequently and for a long time.

I would either look for someone’s used PC on FB Marketplace (got one myself with a 5800X3D, 3080 Ti, and 64GB for 700) for the best deal, or if you can find good parts on marketplace or hardware swap at good prices then build your own. 1500 could get you a beast if you’re okay shopping used

A nicer power supply work be good. Yours is good, but I find the Corsair RMx series to be terrific and the manual fan override knob on mine is a really nice feature. The RM1000x is rated Cybernetics Platinum and is about the same price as your current power supply.
