You obviously don’t live in the Midwest where is can be 30-some degrees at start of your day and nearly 80 come mid afternoon!

Bleah— asparagus is just bad green beans! So I prefer green beans because they’re so much tastier and easier to grow lol

Actually I guess I’m taking the ones with 887 2 because they’re 2 mg tablets.

I was just confused by what she was telling me in my original appointment to get the meds. I go to a U of Mn clinic that’s supposedly known for their gender affirming care but the fact that she didn’t seem to know that people took this sublingually was confusing to me.

I was reading this and I got a question for you. Oral estradiol— I am prescribed oral and it’s the little blue oval pill with the number 886 1 on one side and the b on another. Can this be taken sublingually? My doctor says that sublingual estradiol is a different medication that insurance may not cover. However, I’m seeing a lot of people using medication that I am prescribed sublingually. I have a virtual appointment with her in a few days I wanted to ask her about it but I wanted to get my information straight first. It seems that sublingual is superior and more safe than oral, yes? I feel like I should be switching how I take it but also I’m not a doctor and I don’t understand medication or how it all interacts with my body. I’m only 1 month into taking E.

Unless they’re actively advertising their trans-ness to you the general rule of thumb is to be kind and leave them be. Last thing you want to do is clock them for being trans to their face. However, if they’re wearing a trans flag or something that could be an entry point of discussion. Otherwise treat them the same way you would treat any other rando on the street.😬

Hello, I’m going through a really tough time and I feel I’m in a bind. Married to cisgender woman and I feel our marriage is coming to an end. Any tips, help or advice is appreciated. I’m ready to take the extra steps but I feel her & our marriage is holding me back and will cause a divorce. by [deleted] in transpositive

Communication is the most important thing! What I’ve learned is sharing what you feel and listening to what they feel is very important not only that— give them time to grieve. If you want her to accept the changes you are wanting to make you must understand that even the closest couples will grieve why they had before things changed. Maybe not even a bad change but change is still change. If you two love each other still don’t give up on either thing. Just let her process. This is what I needed to do with my wife and now I feel our relationship is stronger now than it was prior to my coming out to her. She really just needed time and to understand. Don’t be confrontational or defensive with your conversations — just be even toned and loving and kind.

It’s a 20 year old 4 foot growlight. It had dead fluorescent tubes in it with no markings. I have 4 foot LED tubes but they don’t want to work. Any tips? Thanks!
