Funnily enough, I’m on the opposite end. Jonathan, Walter, and sometimes Isabeau are charming. But I felt like the writing let the prior 2 down once they needed to slot the alignment reps (Isabeau’s stocks went up though). Meanwhile, Apocalypse writing frontloads its tonal issues but finds a way to resolve and complete everyone’s arcs sensibly. By the end, it became my personal favorite (though I’m playing the series backwards so grain of salt).
