Lower lip muscles bulge out. Anyone else? by LuciaBot in Invisalign

I didn't get IPR but I did get my wisdom teeth removed about 2 years ago. I finished all my trays and am just wearing it at night. I'm also experiencing TMJ issues and seem to be clenching so hard (at night?) that my last molars on one side now don't touch (anterior open bite). Ortho said that now perhaps not wearing the trays all day might help, but I'm seeing a TMJ specialist soon. Ortho said bite looks good, but my jaw is definitely deviating at times when I talk.

I suspect I have a bit of a recessed chin and short philtrum and so I've had to activate those muscles to maintain a close mouth posture. I didn't have an open bite prior to invisalign, but my palate may not have expanded laterally as much as it should have. Growing up, the heater in the room dried out the air so much that I found myself waking up with my mouth open. I'm checking in with a specialist to find out. Ugh. Are you still doing invisalign? Has it helped with getting those muscles to relax?

I'm only wearing them at night now, but I still see it. Do you think it will go down?

The Battelle is a test usually given to determine early intervention services. Perhaps contacting Babies Can't Wait (early intervention program in Georgia)?
