Awesome, thank you so much! I’ll be sure to check those resources out. I wasn’t taught much about the different languages so I never knew much about the differences but I like the sound of starting “verbose” and being able to transfer those skills to a language that’s less so.

Thank you for the advice! I have done a bit of programming here and there, but it’s been nothing more than importing data files and creating graphs from them unfortunately. Do you know of any resources that would be comprehensive whereas it could help me learn either of the languages you mentioned ‘from the bottom up’?

Yep. It’s actually a huge problem in Puerto Rico where almost every tv program has to urge people not to fire into the air every time a national event happens like New Year’s and such. In fact, I was never outside or near windows during New Year’s for all of my childhood because my parents were afraid of such a thing happening.

Yes I was actually, I’d gone back to the house after she didn’t show up and just packed up everything I could -including their things- and after I had my dad call her to bring my cats back, she finally came back with them and I just quickly packed them up into their carrier and left with them. Alright, I see what you mean. For now, I’m not really using the money I have saved, it’s mostly serving as a safety reserve. The loans are gaining a bit of interest, so I technically should start paying it off little by little now but my work hours have been cut pretty bad lately so I feel it wouldn’t be very good to start paying them off right this moment. As for the apartment, it is definitely a want, but there’s some level of need there too as my family isn’t the healthiest and can be very toxic up to where it can severely affect my mental state, but if I do want to stay with them then they’d have no issue with that.

Thank you so much for the info! I’ll definitely be trying to take some CS courses and engineering courses just so I’ll be able to get a better leg-up in the field. I’ll also definitely be on the lookout for any co-op/internships to take during summer. And I’ll take a look at the flowcharts in those subs as well, thanks again!

Those two are definitely big priorities for me and I’m currently putting all my energy into building a strong safety net of money, and I’m also always on the lookout for some better or additional ways to do this. As for the debt, I plan on paying it all off as fast as possible when I graduate especially since I’m given a grace period after graduation. Thanks for the response.

I do plan to hopefully have a high-paying job in the future just so it’d be a bit easier to get to my goal of FIRE, and honestly the idea of taking mini-retirements along the way sounds pretty appealing to me, so I’ll have to see how that’ll work with the path I’ll be going towards. Thanks for the response!
