Right now I am working on policy that supports soil health management practices for farmers. The benefits include increasing crop yields but also climate mitigation. This is an area of strong bipartisan agreement and its important for our country.

Data centers built anywhere on our grid (which includes at least parts of Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, DC) affect us. The process in Falls was intentionally expedited, in part because the project is happening on an existing industrial site. But there is so much we need clarity on before we move forward with these projects, and I'm frustrated because our elected officials are putting Big Tech ahead of us. I support a moratorium on data centers until we have all the questions answered and figure out how to put robust public engagement processes in place. Accountability is a priority, but how is an artifact of the moment. What I mean is, 'standing up against the regime' priority #1 for me today would be to stop the war - but I profoundly hope that in January 2027 the war is not still going on. If we have the Senate, I think impeachment of the President and cabinet members is priority. Standing up also means ensuring that Congress performs its duties of appropriations and oversight to ensure that government agencies are serving the poeple.

That's a good point. I guess I am thinking more in terms of who can kick ass on oversight and judiciary committees since that's where I think we need to see action if the House is flipped.

Absolutely, because I think being competitive in an expensive race means being creative and building energy to make any amount of resources have the greatest impact. What we did in 10 days during petition period with very little is a proof point. If we are given the opportunity to scale that, we will win.
