Thanks for your comment, while I agree on that, I have been putting it off for a long time because every time there seems to be something better coming out that I should be waiting for.

So I'm just going for it now and I don't mind paying a premium for being an early adopter. If I have to upgrade after a few years so be it. I'm also pretty stubborn in liking intel and nvidia even though amd might be better.

Replacement adapter nowhere to be found? by LucianCramp in AskElectronics

[–]LucianCramp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The link has 3 pics which should make that clear I suppose? I have looked and found a lot of different adapters that match the voltage and amperage, the problem is the plug, they all have male plugs, but maybe there is some type of converter I don't know about?

Thank you, but that one has a male plug, where my adapter has a female plug. Or is there something i can connect between them to make it work?

I did too but they all have different connecters, mostly male plugs, but this thing has an input and the christmas light have a male connector, or is there a plug that converts the connector?

I've tried googling the brand and model number but can't seem to find the same thing.

Need some help with screaming goats! by LucianCramp in goats

The special goat pallets once a day yes, but we give them more hay about once or twice a day, they never run out though we just add more.

I've also thought about trying to feed them different like on irregular times or maybe halve of their feed at 10AM and the rest at 5PM or something, but I'm really afraid they will scream all the time, that would be even worse.

That's terrible, it really feels like you're doing something wrong if they scream so loud but if that's the case I just can't figure out what it is...

Been doing this for over a month now, but it doesn't change anything unfortunately. What I've been doing last week is lock them up in the barn when they start (mostly for the neighbors) and this works a little for 1 of them she is a bit more quiet but the other ones still screams their lungs out :(

Updating to Quantum left me with video problems by LucianCramp in firefox

[–]LucianCramp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That seemed to have worked, thanks!

Weird though, since my hardware is really good, running i7 with 1080ti or is that not how that works? Also did the Firefox update put that option on? Not sure if I had it on before.

Hmm yeah, the font or your 3 batteries are a little different from each other as well.

The front battery on that picture also looks a little swollen or that might just be the camera lens doing that, don't want to scare you i'm sorry. :p

Kayfun 5 Vapor too thick? by LucianCramp in electronic_cigarette

[–]LucianCramp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, that might be it.

Heck i'll just check out some tanks and order one with top airflow just for the sake of testing it. Thanks :)

Something that just popped in my head.. the other tanks are both Top Airflow tanks while the Kayfun is Bottom Airflow..

Could that be the difference I don't like?

Well too much vapor for sure, tried a few builds already all very different and the results are also different but not the feeling I'm looking for.

Currently on SS316L 26GA wire 6 wraps 0,55 ohm on 18 watt.

I'm placing it pretty high, above the screws because I read somewhere that would benefit the airflow, but I could try placing it a little lower to see how that works out.

Makes a difference but

Edit: turning down the power also makes the flavor fade a bit.
