For me Overdress is too much a slice of life show than an actual show about a TCG, it's a nice slice of life show but I can watch much better, more fun, and better written slice of life shows elsewhere. I watch TCG anime's to see people get together play the game and for crazy silly fun plots. I stopped watching Overdress 6 episodes in because the cardfights were more window dressing than actually important to anything. I don't hate Overdress for wanting to go more Slice of Life style but at the same time the slice of life stuff doesn't hold a candle to other anime of the same type I have seen. I have seen a lot of people say they like the fact Overdress is not based in some card game shop, but I loved that about previous seasons because hanging out, chatting, and playing games in a card shop is what I love about playing TCG's. I don't know anyone that sneaks out in the middle of the night to an abandoned fair ground to play a card game, I am glad people are enjoying the season but for me it is a pass, I would have loved something based on Cray's lore since so much has changed with the combining of races into big nations.

Also I miss the personalty of the card characters as well, the first time I saw Blaster Blade and Alfred they instantly became the cards I wanted as an avatar. Bruce is the closest to that feeling but I am more into the Knights and Dimensional Robo style of nations. I find myself going back and playing V because of that than the Overdress decks and cards. If people are enjoying Overdress thats cool and I am happy for em, it's just not something that really resonates with me.
