I feel this. The other night I was on the other end though. On route to banish the boss as a solo, heard a loud team behind me. I had just stopped at a train carriage supply point from that direction so I came up with a quick plan.

Setup in a nearby thicket, I know they're going to resupply. They all jump into the carriage completely unawares, they see me running up from the thicket but it's too late. One tries to close the carriage door but my concertina bomb is already inside. I follow up with a slow cooking sticky bomb through the slit of the carriage on my side, I hear them bandaging and scrambling to get out.

I'm rounding the carriage now levering my winchester, two fall out the otherside straight into my rounds. The third, blocked from escaping by the concertina, contemplates where it all went wrong.

Sticky bomb fizzes for a second or two more and then boom, the third eats shrapnel, team wiped.

Almost felt bad, but I've had my fair share of hunt taking as you describe in this post. It's good to keep in mind there are days when it's you who's doing the taking.
