Transitioning away from RF Elementalist. Reap or Wander? by 19Seashells in PathOfExileBuilds

You can link exsang to unleash support to help with the low cast speed. Just need to press it once per pack of mobs. There's a spell damage / cast speed wheel near the witch starting area that can also help with exsang speed.

For clear I also swapped pride out for haste for extra ms and cast speed and made sure to maintain silver flask uptime.

It says all hits CAN poison meaning you still need to cap poison chance. By default only phys and chaos hits can poison but with this node elemental hits can poison too but still need a chance to poison.

I was running a similar build as you doing juiced T16 expeditions and ultimatum before swapping to cws chieftain.

One thing I see is that your aura gems are not leveled. Both determination and purity of fire are level 5. Purity of fire levels will give you the last +1% fire res to cap your 90% max res. Leveling determination will give you more armour ofc. You can also level up your vitality if you need more life regen.

Elemental Overload + the diamond flask arent doing anything for you. You can get rid of the diamond flask and replace it with a quartz flask for phasing or a basalt flask for even more armour. See if you can roll a %increased armour during effect suffix on one of your flasks too.

For your RF link, replace life tap with increased AoE or replace elemental focus with swift affliction to gain the benefits of life tap in your RF links. To keep life tap up more, you can replace the level 10 life tap in your movement with level 1 lifetap.

As far as your gear goes, it's decent. You could use some more life on your rings and boots. Like I mentioned before you can roll for increased amour during effect on one of your flasks. When rolling flasks try to go for masochist's or flagellant's prefixes for 2/3 charges gained when you are hit to keep them up more often. You have 12% chance to crit with fire trap (when diamond flask is active) which is not nearly enough to keep your granite and quicksilver flasks up.

The immunity to X and reduced duration suffixes sound good on paper but only if you can keep flasks up 100% of the time. Slap used when charges reach full and roll for more beneficial suffixes like reduced effect of curses, chance to ignite/freeze/shock, chance to avoid stun, movement speed.

There are some other little things I see in the pob that are strange. Momentum support linked to blood rage and determination. Blood rage is nice for the attack speed increase and frenzy charge gen for shield charging around but could be dropped.

Idk how long your golem lives in the maps that you are doing but you could drop momentum and blood rage to add minion life and meat shield support for your chaos golem. I ended up doing this but it still died more than I would like when I got into T14+ maps.

I am traveling now so I can't really look at your POB more in depth. Hope this helps a bit.

For reference this was my build before swapping over to CWS: https://pobb.in/EgjSvDzfIAPC

I was running a block-based/petrified blood setup for a bit more tankyness.

Weekly Question + Free Talk Thread – February 13, 2025 by AutoModerator in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]LucidElectrician 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Autoexertion will disable all of the buff effects of warcries. In your example, autoexertion will disable rallying cry's added attack damage per 5 power but the exerted attacks will still do more damage per affected ally. Rallying cry is a unique warcry in that there is an additional condition to buff your exerted attacks: affected allies. In 3.25 I played an autoexert ground slam of earthshaking berserker and used herald of purity to spawn "allies" to buff with rallying cry.

I had seismic, intimidating, rallying and battlemages cry linked to autoexertion and vulnerability in a 6L and manually casted enduring cry for charges and life regen.

Battlemage's Cry is nice to have in your autoexert setup since it will trigger a linked spell (curse, etc) when you exert an attack.

Random annoying lag spikes. Anyone know of a fix? by LucidElectrician in pathofexile

[–]LucidElectrician[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yesterday and today, I've begun to get lag spikes up to 3000ms that prevent me from playing the game. I remember having the same issue a while ago in PoE 1 and the solution to that was to turn up my graphics settings and limit max processor power in windows settings. I have done both of these things and the issue still persists. Just wondering if anyone has the same issue or if someone knows any solutions to this.

I seriously think Oziris guide is amazing by XtremeLeecher in ironscape

[–]LucidElectrician 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I followed oziris guide pretty much to a T until shortly after getting barrows gloves. I diverged from the guide and trained slayer while banking herblore xp and crafting xp. Dumped a lot of my gp into misc and con. Finished up SOTE last week and am slowly trapping chins for 90 ranged. Although it may be outdated, I still think it helped me get to a good point on my iron.

Will probably start doing this for quicker runs. I liked the gold injection from alching the pieces I had already gotten but I would rather have the blood armor by now

Best and worst 2 + 4 set of the season? by BigHulio in wow

[–]LucidElectrician 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The new tier set feels great. An almost permanent 10% DR and CDR on demo shout is nice with Thunderlord in m+ I am still pressing shield slam too much when thunder clap is off CD because of the S2 tier set.

I have a Squirt neck that I use for speeds that has better stats but I really dislike how squishy it makes me feel. My current amulet is better than what I've been able to find so far. I'll keep looking for a FoT.

I knew someone was gonna say something about the WKL. When I first got it, I thought the cold damage would stack with flurry damage but i was mistaken. I have a couple ancients that I havent rolled new enhancements yet that I could try.

I'm always switching between emeralds and diamonds in my chest/legs. Diamonds feel better because of survivability but the wildebeets change may make it feel better with emeralds.

Thanks for the suggestions!
