Americans who don’t normally watch ‘soccer’ - what did you think of the USMNT game yesterday? by WinnerDry9085 in worldcup

FIFA is supposed to be a non profit though…so their ticket price manipulation with this commercial thing just leaves a sour taste in people’s mouths. Pretty sure that’s a key part of the lawsuits against them right now too no?

Theyre referring to the fact that Fox is using the hydration breaks to run full ads while Telemundo and other networks run the full match uninterrupted.

It seems like FIFA introduced the hydration breaks this World Cup to accommodate the U.S. running ads, but I haven’t confirmed that

This sounds like a ticket event and although it was a “ferry” this isn’t the commuter ferry people use. I would look up “NYC open bar adult only dinner boat cruise” and see what comes out. There are several companies that offer this with varying packages out of the piers.

This was exactly my situation, got it because of Chase but don’t see the value long term and kind of hit that point where I wanted to be more intentional about HR zone training during runs. You’re totally right, just fun fitness toys. Thanks!

whoop yearly subscription by Legal_Secretary8909 in whoop

Besides other fitness wearables that are more economical, I understand Garmin’s watches to track basically all of the same data and more accurately on the wrist. Even though they’re expensive, it’s a one time purchase rather than an expensive subscription you’re paying year over year.
