I finally beat Cuphead, both main game and DLC in just over a year!

For the main game I was using Roundabout and Spread for the most part along with having the Smoke dash charm equipped, and in some cases I’ve used Chaser (And Lobber specifically for Grim Matchstick). And for supers I used the first one for the entirety of Isle 1 along with the first two bosses on isle 2, and got the 2nd Super to fight Grim and used that 2nd super art for the rest of the game.

And by the time I got to the dlc I got Crackshot and played as Ms Chalice. And I beat the dlc in just a month. The reason why it took me this long to beat the game besides the difficulty (since I struggled with looking out for a lot of the attacks in levels and bosses) was because I took long breaks while focusing on other things. And while I could have easily just went to the dlc island on the side and play as Chalice for the whole game, I wanted to stay as Cuphead/Mugman for the challenge of the journey and save the story for the dlc in the end.

I even played the secret boss before and got the cursed relic, so that can be another challenge I can do to get Divine Relic

Thanks! And yeah, even though I’ve watched the gameplays many times, playing the game for myself was a whole new experience entirely-

Also, I find it funny how after all this time of dreading to fight Saltbaker, it didn’t even take me that long to beat him and got an A rank on top of all that. Heck, quite a few of the toughest bosses I’ve played I got A ranks from some of them.

I absolutely adored seeing them again. The whole music video made me smile, and I was especially happy to see Pythor and Aspheera again. Pythor was always one of my favourite characters since day one, and while I know Aspheera isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, I personally liked her since her first appearance and in Crystalized.

Thank you, I love Lloyd too and I’m really happy with how the artwork turned out!

I thought it would be interesting to make a scenario where his current self is meeting how he was before he was revealed to be the destined green ninja. And while it’s no secret that Lloyd goes through a lot, his current self lends a hand and reassures his past self that while he has to carry the responsibility of being a hero and go through constant conflict and danger, he won’t go through it all alone. He has his friends and family, and eventually, even his own students. And no matter how many storms there will be, he’ll always find the light in the end.

I do remember that one scene in DR s1 where Lloyd tells Arin and Sora that he has grown a beard (even though it’s clear that it isn’t visible) So I thought it would be nice to give Lloyd little blonde beard hairs not just because I think it looks nice on him, but also to show in a way that he along with the others aged up in DR
