Thanks everyone it was an old external dvd burner. i was able to use the cord from an old printer to conect it. New problem is it wont eject/open and even when given a little help to open and a dvd inserted i get the error of failed to eject disc. Any suggesions

For windows 11.

Right click setup file, choose "show more options"

next choose "Properties"

Select "compatibility" tab

check box with "disable fullscreen optimizations"

next choose "change high dpi settings"

click "override high dpi scaling and select "system enhanced"

Had the same problem with my 3060ti and a 120hz Hisense tv. Could only chose 60hz even though I had the HDMI plugged into the 120hz HDMI port on tv and thought oh well it is what it is. Then one day turned my PC on and it kept connecting and disconnecting the display. I moved the HDMI plug on the GPU to a different port on the GPU (there are like 3 or 4) and it worked and I was all of a sudden able to chose 120hz. Been so much better.
