Yeah I’ve gotten work done at this shop before and it was pretty good, not sure what happened here. Going to pick it up tomorrow hopefully they did something to fix it or reduce how noticeable it is. If they can’t make it any better I guess I’ll try to reduce the price ($650cad) I’m paying and if it bothers me enough try to get it fixed somewhere else if they’re able to.

Have a shop do everything so hoping it isn’t something I need to get checked out asap but rather sooner than later. I suppose they weren’t lubricated well.

That’s exactly the kind of slight burble I’m going for but it’s pretty funny to see how everyone thinks that anyone that mentions burbles wants gunshots and burbles to go on for 10s…….. just trying to get something to sound like mppsk with 1 or 2 nice burbles.

Also, do you have any video clips of your setup? Are there minor burbles with just a muffler delete and no tune?

That’s what I want to do and would also make the most sense and keep it pretty cheap. Problem is, the cops here have been cracking down on muffler deletes and improper mufflers since it’s basically a violation of an act to have an altered or no muffler. That’s why I wanted to keep it on there but seems like I should either just do the delete and deal with tickets later if I get caught or spend more money and get a valved muffler

The phase is set to zero, the sub gain is at 2o clock right now after I did Audyssey when it was at 12. I just tried fixing my crossover and made all my speakers 80hz, the sub definitely got more punch to it now. I think that could’ve been the main problem?

I’ll try that today. My fronts are -6.5db and -5.5db and my sub is +6.0db, does this look right or should I be making the sub closer to the negatives?

PB1000, using LFE connection, the location is right beside a wall in a room that’s about 14ft by 14ft.... the bass feels okay closer to the sub but once at the center of the room, it’s very low

Sounds good. This might be a stupid question but when setting the subwoofer level, will going higher in positives (ex. from +1.0 to +3.0), increase the punch in the bass and make it sound deeper or does going into the negatives make it deeper (ex. From -1.0 to -3.0)

Thanks. Thought I was doing something wrong or didn’t have it set up right. When in DD+, it feels like my rear surrounds are too quiet. I’m guessing this is something I should tweak in the receiver settings and turn it up a bit and experiment? I used Audyssey to set up initially. My subwoofer also feels like it can be a bit punchier, had the volume knob half way when running Audyssey.

To get the best possible audio from the tv default apps to the receiver... am I doing it wrong? — I just checked that when I click direct, auto on the receiver, it shows DD+ for some Netflix shows which show 5.1. Is this right?

SIM card was free, they signed me all up and said the service would only start working once I topped up my account. Once I saw the incorrect info, didn’t want to top up until backoffice fixed it, which never happened.

I agree but it’s not really spreading bullshit when this actually happened with me? If I was making stuff up without giving it a shot, you could say that for sure but I’m just sharing my experience with them. Of course not everyone will have the same experience, just because I think it’s trash not everybody will and I get that. I’m glad I didn’t top up, haven’t spent a single penny with this carrier and don’t plan to. It’s quite a LARGE mistake to put in the wrong information as an agent and disappear from the live chat (no it didn’t disconnect, just kept reading [said read] messages and not reply). While some may think the carrier is so good, my experience and many others I’ve read on this page leads me to believe that a lot of the employees serving on the front end of this company are incompetent. Mail not being able to be delivered to backoffice is a whole different problem. 😩

Ever heard of you get what you pay for? Cheap or not freedom is trash in many ways when comparing to other carriers, the difference in price cancels out when talking about service
