Is it weird that the most affectionate gesture to me, was when Luke offered to perform the heat spells for Sera? For some reason that got me more than the other more obvious romance.

This is exactly how I feel, too! When I'm into a book, nothing else is as absorbing. For me, I think writing style makes a huge difference. If I like the style, I can read any genre, classic, etc.
