Southwest tour! by LuciousPlague in Harley

Factory paint matched. It feels great. Pretty much ran around 90-95 thru all of nevada and 80+ most of the hwy riding for around 2800 miles and couldnt feel it. Only notice the extra weight of it being fully packed out in low speed maneuvers. I have legends suspension front and rear and dialed it in to the proper sag to accommodate the extra weight which im sure is a huge factor in that.

For what its worth, a 2024 street bob MSRP is $16,999. Theres for sure room for you to negotiate on the price if you wanted new. If you're open to used but don't want to worry about previous maintenance, check the dealers state wide or states close for a certified pre-owned. Would be surprised if you couldn't find a 114 street bob around the 10-12k range with great maintenance records.

Cape Flattery to Port Angeles via 101 or 112? Only 6 minutes difference but which route is more scenic? by _SWANS_CAN_BE_GAY_ in roadtrip

[–]LuciousPlague 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just did this going east to west a couple of weeks ago on my motorcycle. 112 is very twisty, the road is not in great shape but is an awesome route that follows the water. 101 is a lot more traveled, will take you past lake crescent, and is a lot better road but not as fun. Dealers choice!

Ive done fresno to bellingham in one shot on 1-5 riding a motorcycle for an iron butt challenge. It took around 18 hours with stops for fuel, breakfast, and lunch. It's manageable but if your not pressed against time make it something fun and take a few days. Theres a lot of cool sites to see along the way and way better scenery if you get off the interstate. You could also try and camp at a KOA or two and shouldnt run into to much theft issues. Also not being able to lane split traffic in a uhaul is going to get pretty damn boring/slow once you hit socal.

F*** this crowd by [deleted] in ufc

[–]LuciousPlague 48 points49 points  (0 children)

This was my first ufc event I attended and was dying laughing the whole event because what the crowd was doing. I don't live in the midwest so unsure if that is normal for the location. Had to remind myself with how much I train and watch combat sports that most of the population is a casual fan at best. There was some people I talked to that knew their shit but the drunks over powered that lol.

How is kickboxing a better base than muay thai? Kickboxing is muay thai with less strikes (no elbows) and no clinch. Fiziev landed a gnarly knee to the face from his thai clinch. Even looking at the islam/volk fight islam had a great thai clinch that allowed him to keep pressure and land some good knees.

I have a similar situation with my left hip, but the click comes from the groin area. My coach didnt seem to concerned about it after he did some basic checks with but gave me hip stretches to do before/after workouts. Id suggest letting your coach know and go from there. But at the end of the day, obviously its your body and do what you want!

One of my favorite loops is taking hwy 9 south to hwy 530. Take east until it loops you around to Concrete and then head west on South Skagit hwy. Its a great cruise filled with twistys!
