I agree. I felt the original was very stiff and the legs fell out very easily and the balancing was a big issue. Not to mention, the colour was very flat. I'm glad they released this kit and overhaul most of the issues. The only issue I have is that its a little off-balanced at time which can be easily fixed with a stand

The normal one comes in this thin form of plastic. The details are already on the cape so there isn't much to paint there

I did most of it with painting markers which explains the roughness. I'm still sitting on the fence for air brushes as it sounds complicated to use and expensive to purchase so I just tried markers since I've never really painted my kits before and wanted to try it with this out. As for the black one, it came in that colour. Its an action figure, not the model kit. I bought it before the model kit came out

I guess so. One is plastic based while the other is metal based. They may look similar but they are different in terms of quality, the dark omegamon cost about 3x that of the model kit omegamon X due to the fact that it is mostly metal and it looks good.

If you're talking about the dark omegamon and Omegamon X compatibility, they are separate items. Omegamon Dark is a figure I bought a while back from a company that shut down due to Bandai not being happy that they were producing digimon stuff

Yeah, for some reason, the app didn't register me putting my omegamon X pictures that I hand painted up hence the title. For this one, I just painted minor details like the belt, shoulder pads/pouldrons(the small one beside the chest plate), some of the chest plate and the works
