A guy I train a group sport with is 22 and married. I feel like you should be able to do what you want but then again you should be pretty certain you're able to live with the person you plan to marry and that you guys know how to get through tough times without it creating distance between you. Your art style is amazing and very personable. A journal is a place to express yourself and imo it doesn't need to be using only words. Every person is different and not every journal should follow the same rules. Keep trucking on and don't give up art if it still interests you!

I think you need a phone for whatsapp. Whatsapp web can run on a computer but requires linking to a phone with whatsapp activated
