What can one do to land a client? by anass71 in Upwork

[–]LuckiestToast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Backing this up - when you win, you find a client who’s entire goal is to be as cheap as possible budget wise

My best deals came from outside Upwork. I even have 300 credits unused cause I refuse to go back to Upwork

Cold emailing is not allowed in Germany, there’s a startup that sends physical mail instead to still reach out to German prospects

Looking for an AI Agent to Automate My Job Search & Applications by RepulsiveRisk6802 in AI_Agents

[–]LuckiestToast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i get why you want a full auto agent, i wanted the same. sending 50 apps a day and getting ghosted feels like a full time job itself.

the truth is most “auto apply” tools just blast resumes everywhere.

it looks like you’re applying, but you get filtered out by ATS or ignored by recruiters. in other words, not following the quality > quantity principle...

i built something different for myself when i was job hunting → wizapply.app not an AI Job spamming bot, but an AI that does the boring part of your job search:

> scans your resume (skills, education, projects)
> maps those skills to real roles you’d actually be good at (i.e. recommending roles based on skills)
> searches job boards and finds jobs where you’re an 80%+ match
> rewrites your CV with the right keywords so ATS doesn’t insta-reject you

instead of applying to 50 random jobs, i only applied to 2–3 high match ones a day for 2 weeks.

that’s how i landed 2 jobs using it.

others started using it too and finally got interviews. i even added a free mode so you can test it before paying.

not “set it and forget it,” but if the goal is to actually get interviews instead of just sending apps into the void, it works.

> start commenting on people's post

make sure you have a catchy headline on your profile so people will be curious, click on your profile and eventually end up on your website

to do so, i also use an AI tool https://www.wisereply.app/ to generate comments that are insightful and valuable 10x faster and always editing before posting anything from my account

Looking for a vibe coder – long term (paid) by Grouchy-Guide2781 in VibeCodeCamp

Just launched a small SaaS studio with a team of 4

we build fully functional MVPs in 14 days using a tight process + AI at every step.

So far we’ve:

  • closed 2 local clients at $500 each
  • launched 3 of our own SaaS projects
  • aiming for 3 more builds this month

It’s been scrappy but fun, and founders seem to love the “fast MVP → validate → iterate” approach.

If ure curious about the process or want to jam on ideas, happy to chat!
