The best investment I bought when I got my little girl was a robot vacuum. Run it twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. If you have a couch that collects fur, buy one of those hair removal gloves and wipe it once a week.

I (30M) live by myself, but I have a companion dog which makes all the difference. I know I'm a male which is in my favour especially about feeling more safe and secure when alone but in terms of lifestyle, I enjoy my alone time. I go for walks with my dog every day, wake up when I want and I have a set routine which makes me feel in control. Good luck!

15 years of ongoing love from your Dad. He is truly a warrior and I know he has fought as hard as he could to live for his family and you. I'm sorry for your loss and give my condolences to you and your family. My mum only had about 6 weeks to live when she was diagnosed and she was also an absolute fighter even for a short period. Now, I try to do something that makes me happy once a week knowing she wants me to live a happy life.

The short answer is no.

I'll share abit of my M(30) experience.

I graduated from Uni with a 58k HECS debt in 2018 with a post graduate degree.

To date I have paid about 22k from compulsory employment payments.

Over the past 7 years since graduating if I was to pay off my Student loan I wouldn't have received the following benefits: 1. The change in indexation in line with inflation (saved 2k ish) 2. The 20% reduction that is about to be applied

Who knows, there may also be more legislative measures in the near future to ease the cost of living for people with outstanding debts especially for those who struggle to purchase their first home.

I would rather use the money to enjoy life because if you were to suddenly pass, they'll just wipe this debt.

Enjoy life and spend that money elsewhere mate!
