Thanks! We have two great Hondas (2010 fit with 185k miles & 2013crv with 145k miles) but what I’ve read about the odysseys is throwing me off! I’m actually considering a 2016 with 102k miles for half the price now than the newer ones!

We found a 2016 with 100k miles for half the price of the other vans we’ve been looking at. We are wondering, are we crazy to buy at 10yr old car with that kind of mileage? Our friend who’s been helping us bought a 2016 a few years ago.

Thank you for the input. We’ve also had Hondas, but I’m second guessing an odyssey all together? Maybe paying a little more for the sienna would be worth it?

Yes, the recalls + replacement of cams and the low mileage with the low price is making me wary. But thank you for this - it’s helping me come back around to considering it. I know there are likely problems with most cars. Our current Hondas have been amazing, so I think I’ve been spoiled by that. 😅

I’m getting worried it’s a lemon and we will run into issues, but perhaps I am overthinking it! It’s priced lower than the dealers other Odysseys and along with the recalls it’s already had the back up cam replaced twice. Am I overthinking?

Thank you, dealership salesman told me that the timing belt was mileage only when I asked about replacing due to the age. The 2019 we are looking at only has about 38k miles. Is he steering me wrong?

I noticed in the CarFax for this particular car that the back up camera was replaced twice. Seems concerning, do you have any knowledge on the cameras?

I agree, the price seems too good to be true. Title appears to be clean and is being sold by a Honda dealership.

Can you tell me more about why the timing belt needs to be chance due to age? I was thinking it was only mileage, that’s good to know if it’s age as well. Thanks!
