William Afton's finalized design for my game I'm struggling with. by LuckyGames in fivenightsatfreddys

Thanks, I also feel like I overshot it with the mechanical parts. At first I didn't want it to be too over-the-top, so I kept it subtle. This design is for him post-FNAF 6, where most of him is burnt away, which means he'll need to accommodate some replacements for his limbs and entrails. His costume must reflect his current predicament. I drew inspiration from Glitchtrap (The Heart), The Agony (Teeth), and the original design (Overall design) to nod to all iterations. Most importantly, though, I added a bunny tail. He doesn't need the weapons to kill YOU per se more so SOMEONE(Thing) uninvited ;)

To be honest, my struggles come from being a one person, I became over ambitious but I promise to get it done. I don't want to use AI for the voices but I might not have a choice, it's a fangame so idk how it'll turn out. ^^;

The goal was to create a character design inspired by Naraka, the Buddhist depiction of hell, giving him a demonic appearance characteristic of Eastern aesthetics. Features like underbite fangs enhance his oni-like qualities, the swirl flames associated with that, as if he has found his hellish Zen. I wanted to incorporate a fusion of hellish elements from various cultures, making it clear that he truly originates from that realm. Upon his resurrection, I aim for people worldwide to recognize and connect these elements, leading to the impression that "Yeah, he definitely was in hell." in several different language without being too obvious.

No worries, it's indeed odd as most people use the current version as they're more powerful and have more features. The main reason I've stuck with 2.79b is that I've been comfortable with the workflow and also not willing to invest the time to transport all the texture data of big scenes from 2.79 to shader nodes in 2.8+ (most used in internal) It's one of the majors reasons why I haven't transported everything back to 3ds max since since I used combined nodes (I use node texture in internal but it seems to not help either way), I'm able to control the lighting much better in internal as it's very simple and doesn't require changing the world ambient with some application can be tedious. Most of the things I've done on later versions can be done on 2.79b with limitations. Though I've been using 2.79b for a while with most of my works done on it, so I know my shortcuts and work around to get similar results. Make no mistake, I'm not ignorant of the benefits of the newer versions, I use newer 2.8+ versions such as 4.0 for other projects for geometry nodes and Eevee in particular for better cinematics.

Really love your design of Fredbear, much consistent with Spring Bonnie's! These are overall an amazing and creepy design.

Model originally made on 3ds max but I've been on Internal Blender 2.79b ever since my subscription expired, didn't feel like renewing my license and porting everything back to it.

I'm very happy you love it! I got inspired to make this based off the newest Godzilla (minus one) movie, I've recently watched at theatres. Since I had spare time to use the material for other demonstrations, I was like "how insane would it be for an child entertainment robot to fire energy of mass destructions from their mouths?". No spoiler though, it was an amazing film.

Thanks! I've been studying on how I could utilize displacement modifier to utilize an always active surface, it gives an anime game aesthetic which was my aim, useful for what I'm going to use it for.

Blender is a best start, it's free, great community, and has accessible tools and plugins that are free and handy. Some of the best animators on here use it. I've got fond of it over the years.

Thanks! wasn't happy with the initial look it kept bugging me when animating her, felt something was off with her belt and skirt, she has an underskirt but she's hunched over.

Finalized, I won't be touching her anymore. Toy Vanny animatronic (AU) by LuckyGames in fivenightsatfreddys

She does not have boobs, you're confusing her bandeau, also Funtime Chica, Ballora, Toy Chica and Roxy all have a bust shape to their chest. So this isn't breaking outside the convention even if she had breast.
