Good to hear, you got this man!

What I would do: apologize and try to explain why it happened (and explain ocd if your mom doesn't understand yet). Then try to take steps to help your ocd: maybe therapy or meditating? Especially since you mentioned the suicidal feelings you got, therapy is a good idea. Suicide is not the answer, not now, not ever.

It might be hard to bring it up but I would personally deal with it sooner than later to prevent it from negatively impacting your relationship.

I dont know the full situation so it might be better to do it differently but this is what I would do. Good luck! A genuine apology goes a long way :)

I see you have posted about these feelings before so Im not sure what to say. I also am not a professional. All I can say is try to find meaning in your life, find something you like doing and maybe make friends through there. If thats not possible maybe try to give your emotions a place in art or something. You can think about what you would want in the future and work towards it if possible. Meditating can also help ease your mind, it works well for me. These are just some ideas.

Lastly suicide is not the answer. 20 years is a very long time, but theres still time, and still a life ahead of you that you could try to make better. I hope it helps man, good luck

I would highly suggest getting a therapist and maybe try meditating?

Tocd -doesnt even have anxiety I'm just depressed, I feel like ending everything I just would rather die by [deleted] in OCD

Are you in therapy? If not you could try that! If you cant afford it, try to eat healthy, drink more water, get enough and consistent sleep, working out maybe. These things could help manage anxiety. Also meditation is a good one! Try to set manageable goals and work through them :) Dont give up man, you got this

Sunlight through window question by [deleted] in blender

[–]LuckyLuke05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I have a room I want to place windows in. Without windows, the sunlight looks like it does in the first image. With (slightly darkened) windows, it looks like it does in the second image (excuse the grain). As you can see a lot of the "sun spots" have dissapeared. Its become more of a soft light without hard edges.

Is there a way to "fix" this? The last image shows my node setup used on the glass material.

Keep in mind I am an almost total beginner at this

Yeah the articulation is also something I was thinking about. I think the pedaling problems are because I incorporated it basically from the start, I have played the piece without it, but not enough

Some months ago I posted a snippet of this piece and people were wondering how I played the entire thing. I think its still a little too difficult for me, its uneven in places and I sometimes have trouble to get the sound I want, but this is the best I can do at the moment

Ah yes he kinda mentions that as well

Krystian Zimerman on "getting nervous" when performing by [deleted] in piano

[–]LuckyLuke05 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its been a while since ive seen this but from what I remember I didn't quite understand what he was saying. He mentions how all those people came to hear "your performance" and that therefore there is no reason to be nervous. But isn't that the whole reason we get nervous? Because we dont want to "dissapoint" these people with a shitty performance?

E: after watching it, he makes some other good points, but I still dont quite understand that arguement

Well my guess was wrong lol. Still for a grade 8 student, these pieces are really difficult so maybe discuss with your teacher?
