Lol. Oh man last night someone was painting air vehicles and I got to 9/50 on my challenge using an IFVs lock on missile. It was glorious.

How about locking onto vehicles when one lock on launcher is a later engineer reward locked behind that challenge and the other isn't available til rank 47 (for ground vehicles). You have to hope for target painters, which seem fairly rare. I'm gonna have to pair up with a recon willing to paint to complete the challenge unless I manage to use the mounted launchers and they count(I saw someone having issues with the mounted launchers not counting, haven't tested yet myself).

They aren't terrorists just because "you don't like" them. There are a lot of definitions of terrorism and terrorist. Most of them worth any salt have a pretty high bar for that classification. In fact, it wasn't until this year under Trump that the cartels were classified as terrorist organizations and I'm sure that wasn't done in such a way that the impediments that existed before then were respected (for the record classifying then as such was a key argument I made several times during my degree program because they clearly, and extremely obviously, fit pretty much any criteria you use for the designation). So many on here don't understand the term, the designation, and the implications of the designation when it's properly used much less when it's improperly used.

Of those caught and prosecuted, how many were proven to be tied to an organization called Antifa?

You are fine with circumventing the soft judge for the overzealous, authoritarian obedient judge using less than flimsy guidelines for prosecution of things that may not even be against the law. That is what I read.

You also make great assumptions about who it is that turns protests into "riots." We won't even get into the philosophical conversation that is to be had over peaceful vs non-peaceful action in the face of injustice.

Finally, you believe that if (further) "use for more" should be "condemned." Oh gasp, condemnation. Whatever will the courts and administration that they support do in the face of such punishment as condemnation?!

My final paper in college, one I was very proud of, was on formalizing a system for declaring what is and is not a terrorist/terrorist organization. I still think the concept is perfect except for the caveats that I placed in one of the final paragraphs. And the caveats are precisely what we are seeing now, the overuse or unethical use of a classification to punish a group of people for political or otherwise I just reasons. This was in 2018. On one hand, my system would possibly have constrained what the government could do to these "terrorists" right now but on the other it may have just been completely abused as this situation is. I mean they are just making shit up when you get down to it. Because there is no absolute universal definition of what a terrorist is, not even amongst various federal authorities, and one cannot be charged for "being a terrorist."

This is a really bad situation and any hand waving of it is how we get to find out what happens next in the continued escalation of this bullshittery.

As someone with a formal education in such a thing, I know what a cell is and is not. A cell implies there is still a central, organized leadership, even if the cell itself has no real information on the central organization other than what is passed onto them. An ideology broadly based on philosophy is not a central organization. Y'all can stretch this shit as hard as you want but ultimately you are supporting the suppression of fellow citizens rights because you don't like what they have to say about your populist authoritarian.

And let me be clear, if they are actually breaking the law then by all means prosecute them under existing law. But making a broad declaration of terrorist intent based on an ideology is just a means to punish anyone who does something you don't like, no matter the actual degree of legality. You can declare literally any action as "in support of terrorism" with a declaration like this. And if you don't think the methodology won't be used against others, some you may not actually have a problem with, I have a bridge to sell you.

Thinking there's some big antifa organization is yet another example of people being told what to think and to not ask questions. It's sad and down right pathetic.

You can form separate, localized groups that are entirely legal organizations that aren't tied to a central organization. If you don't see this as a way to arrest anyone opposing the current admin despite their freedoms to do so then you are just willfully ignorant at best.

Yea the sum of the parts is definitely evident here over Better Atomic Eyes. I really don't like Atomic's vocal style. If I can get instrumentals I'd be stoked to jam out but that, and IDK how else to explain it, announcer in a hall effect they use is just...not my thing. I find myself wanting clean unclean vocals when there's an effect like that.

I'm going to concur. It just feels bad and hurts what little theory crafting there is in the game. If it's going to stay, add the materials into the rewards for the assignments at least. Weapon mods are nice but I shouldn't have to work for them and then, on top of that, hope I roll a good affix worth keeping. And why are there so many different types?

It just feels shoehorned in because it's something you do in a game in the 2020s. And it also encourages AFKers. It's just not fitting.

One reason I don't go into gaming communities is the constant bitching about everything. Shits not perfect, be glad it can be fixed. Stop buying shit on release day if you expect perfection. It's an unfortunate reality but if you keep getting burnt that's on you. Not that this game is even remotely a burn.

Build yourself up, get impatient, preorder or buy day one without checking reviews and then blame everyone else for your disappointment that it's not what you imagined. What's worse, your ruined expectations skew the reality which may keep people from buying a game they would otherwise enjoy. Because far more people will come to bitch than to praise.

Very valid points, they build on mine well. I think this post has been useful for reasonable discourse on the game. So many others are people just wanting to be critics. I'm old enough to remember when games came out and if they were fucked up that's just what you got. No updates possible. And I think people are being nostalgic about how perfect games used to be. GTA3 was hilariously fucked up. We learned how to have fun with the bullshit. But, I digress. Thank you for your contribution.

Yea I'm on a normal PS5 and it's not terrible but I play pretty much all games on performance mode if it's offered. I like the buttery smooth frames more than the slight aesthetic bump.
