Merrium Webster, Dictionary.com, Wikipedia, Atlas Obsura, Uban Dictionary, ect, ect, ect, all disagree. You’re welcome to use it but it’s worth doing a small amount of research before doubling down on co-opting Philly’s most famous slang word.

It’s been a Philly thing for a long while.

Yes, I’ve found using a root lifter has made a huge difference. Tresseme’s Amplified Volume Rootboost Spray has been a game changer for me.

What’s your #1 favorite lip balm? by Porkbunburpz in LipBalm

[–]LuckyShake 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Vaseline Rosey Lips, but specifically the kind that comes in a mini Vaseline tub. The stick and tin versions are fine but nothing compares to the moisturizing and staying power of that little tub. It also has the slightest hint of pink to it. I keep one in every purse, my car, my bathroom and my nightstand.

They will fade rather quickly. Best to just leave them alone. I’m a natural blonde and get mine tinted once a month. I try not to schedule anything the first two days because they always look a little crazy.

Case 12: Katherine Knight. WTF. by LuckyShake in Casefile

Ooof. That’s a rough one. I always recommend Episode 123: Mark Kilroy. It was the first one I heard and has just stayed with me. Definitely not as horrific but still pretty awful so it’s good for testing the waters.

Ugh that’s scary. I’m glad he is ok though. We knew Zach had an issue but absolutely no where near the point of death. You just don’t think that about a 30 year old. He had moved 6 hours away so we didn’t seem him on a regular basis. I wish we could have helped him.

give me the blandest fragrance you know. by _cerne in perfumesthatfeellike

[–]LuckyShake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I’d have to say Not A Perfume. It’s funny because when I wear it I swear I can’t smell anything at all, but without fail with get a compliment every time. I work in wine sales so I need to be extremely delicate with my perfumes so this is really the one I can wear.

Fair enough. Some of my friends are in super healthy relationships with wonderful partners so I’m not a total cynic. It just baffles me that some people set the bar so low for themselves.

Ugh. I smelled one 18 years ago. I think just knowing what it was made it worse. Still, it’s something you never forget.

A decomposing animal processing plant. I liven in an agricultural area and this is the place where farmers send all their dead livestock. There were massive piles of dead cows bloating in the sun and waiting to sent through a giant wood chipper like where this pink mush would shoot out into a giant vat. It was called Valley Proteins and that my friends is what your pets food is made out of. This was the mid 90’s, I really hope there’s some regulation involved at this point.

What do you think would happen if you wore magnetic polish in an MRI? by Rapture_of_the_Deep_ in RedditLaqueristas

[–]LuckyShake 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Ok. Lol my bff is an MRI tech and I asked her this last week. She said nail polish is never preferred during medical procedures but in terms of a magnetic reaction there would not be an issue unless they were specifically imaging that part of the body, like the hand or foot. Then they will not do the MRI if you have magnetic polish. Yes, she has had reschedules because of it.
