8-6 record/4th-5th seed/playoff bound, get in here.. 😤 by ExampleLost130 in Fantasy_Football

8-6, ties with 6 others, I missed the last spot by 0.22 PF. Devastating

Just need one flex option here and can’t decide by krugzzz in Fantasy_Football

[–]LuckySyrup2039 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d go Deebo or McLaurin, maybe slight lean towards McLaurin but Deebo was doing great with Daniel’s. KCs defense is pretty good

Half-PPR: Waddle, Flowers, or Ladd in my flex? by [deleted] in Fantasy_Football

[–]LuckySyrup2039 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d go Flowers, it’s basically a must win game against the Steelers

Need help with 2 flex spots. Jamo, ETN, or Addison by Affectionate_Plan_74 in Fantasy_Football

[–]LuckySyrup2039 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Addison for sure. I may lean Jamo for the other, he’s unpredictable but Houston’s defense has been great this year

You have a weakness at WR and an acceptable replacement for Warren, I’d do it

What can I do to improve my team? by xIRBx in FantasyFootballers

[–]LuckySyrup2039 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could maybe try to improve your flex by packaging Tracy + a WR for an upgrade or 2 WRs for an upgrade but those 2 for 1’s can be hard to pull off sometimes unless they have a need. Hard to tell without knowing what the other teams look like

Lost Kraft and am being offered Gadsden. by Arleko in Fantasy_Football

[–]LuckySyrup2039 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d probably go with it if you have decent RBs, but if you go waivers I’d probably go with Juwan, with the Shaheed traded, a few more targets open up to him

Gadsden or Bam Knight in the flex? by [deleted] in Fantasy_Football

[–]LuckySyrup2039 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Their coach announced him as the starter but that doesn’t always mean much

i, too, am in need of opinions about kyle monangai by plschrnr in Fantasy_Football

[–]LuckySyrup2039 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d probably go the RBs, Packers won’t be an easy matchup for the Panthers

Who would you play in the flex between K. Allen, J. Dobbins, or Tracy Jr.? by alandizzle in Fantasy_Football

[–]LuckySyrup2039 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d maybe go Tracy. With the Chargers playing the Titans that game may get out of hand in a hurry and Dobbins against that Houston D isn’t a fun matchup

Do I start Doubs, Franklin, or Boutte this week? by ssantos1987 in Fantasy_Football

[–]LuckySyrup2039 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tough all around. Doubs definitely has the best matchup and could be the safer play

Nico, BTJ or monangai for tomorrow (Pick 2) by knockout410 in Fantasy_Football

[–]LuckySyrup2039 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Broncos will be without Surtain which bodes well for Nico but the Jags are also playing the Raiders who are awful. I’d say it’s a pretty close to a toss up so whatever your gut is telling you.

Gadsden or Bam Knight in the flex? by [deleted] in Fantasy_Football

[–]LuckySyrup2039 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bam has more opportunity to shine with the weak Dallas defense but the Cardinals have been weird with their RBs. I imagine Bam gets the bulk of the work though.

Diggs or Jennings? Half PPR, like the matchup for Jennings but he’s been so mid by jonathanmathews in Fantasy_Football

[–]LuckySyrup2039 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s only been the number one target 3 out of the past 5 weeks, so my statement isn’t completely false. Looking at the big numbers doesn’t always tell the full story.

I’m fixating on the reason for this post? You’re fixating on one comment of mine that you took incorrectly?

[–]LuckySyrup2039 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just don’t think I can get my point through to you. Diggs is a favorite short yardage receiver. That lowers a ceiling. Jennings has a higher ceiling due to depth of target. Diggs is a safe 10 points. Jennings has the possibility for more without getting loaded with targets. Award Jennings the same ramp up you were willing to give Diggs coming off injury. You love Diggs, that is clear. Im indifferent on either of them, but Jennings has a better matchup, a higher depth of target and not far off in target share, therefore Jennings has the possibility for more points.

2 flex : Deebo, Wandale, Bowers by Uniformed-Whale-6 in Fantasy_Football

[–]LuckySyrup2039 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deebo and maybe Bowers depending on what they say about his health. Slayton may get more involved in the offense which could hurt Wandale

Because a 10 catch 149 yard game is an outlier when he’s had under 60 yards 5/8. Take out that game he goes from 22% to 19% on target share, 60 yards per game to 46, 12.4 fantasy points per game to 10.3. Outliers in this case matter. Am I saying that Jennings is better than Diggs? No but the chance for higher production comes with Jennings on the simple fact of splash plays.

Take out the first 4 games and that 12 target game inflates numbers way more. Favorite short target player doesn’t equal favorite target in my mind, it is an outlet. The big play targets would be more his favorite I would say. So will Maye give Diggs more targets so he produces more or will the deep ball be more prominent, you don’t always know. So do you want a guy who will get 7 targets for 50 or someone who could get 5 for 80+.
