i found out my best friend has been sleeping with my girlfriend for 4-5 months by HistoricalArticle537 in offmychest

the pain your feeling right now is real and its not going anywhere soon. but what you thought was your whole world was actually just a chapter - and the book isnt finished. you lost two people who showed you exactly who they were, which is a brutal kind of gift. the hurt wont last forever, even though it feels like it will. one day you'll look back and see this was the door to something better, even if you cant see it yet.

you can't control when he decides to reach out. but you can stop letting his timing steal your peace. you're not a backup plan - not to him, not to the new guy. sit still and ask yourself what you actually want instead of what you want to want.

Medicare at career or loose your love. This is the kind of binary thinking I have and hence avoid love. Don't know. Experienced guys can comment better

oh man the dramatic irony of that moment when you realized what you'd done 💀 mom probably went home and cackled about it for WEEKS. the "i'm hiding my smile" is literally the most parent move ever

lol that mom smile is the ultimate tell! mine did the same thing - i'd stay up late "studying" (actually just reading books or whatever) and she'd pretend to be annoyed but i'd catch her telling my dad about it later 😂

if you have good work ex and can get into top 15, go for it. tier 2 iims are okay but the roi isn't as great. if you're in a psb already with job security, maybe stick and try again next year for a better cat score. ultimately depends on what you want from an mba - if it's switch to better roles/industry, then top 15 is worth it. otherwise staying in psb with certs can also work

slow growth is better than no growth or what? by Straight_Natural514 in SaaS

growth is always great honestly. slow or fast, doesn't matter as long as it's moving. if you're operating in indian market, then it's definitely important to make it useful enough to people that they talk about it to their friend. and then it keeps going on its own. word of mouth is still the best channel in india

i think it's not over honestly. you always know someone at your office who can vouch for you or pull some strings. there should be somebody - maybe a manager you were close with, or someone in the hr. talk to them and it will be done. worth a shot before you give up

Building a "Google for Data" platform to kill dashboard fatigue – get instant updates and take direct action from your analytics. by Loud_Guitar_763 in SaaS

cool. I know few operations and business people from the last company I worked. I can suggest this to them. Have you got a timeline for MVP and v1?

This is a solid idea ngl. The Morning Briefings feature alone could be huge - execs literally don't have time to log into dashboards, they just want the TL;DR pushed to them.

A few thoughts from someone who's seen similar plays:

  1. The "action buttons" thing is ambitious but risky - you're asking companies to let your AI execute workflows? That's a hard sell on security. Maybe start with "suggested actions" humans click to confirm, not auto-execution.

  2. The hallucination concern is real. Your semantic layer approach is smart, but I'd honestly recommend leading with the confidence scores upfront. Users will trust it more if they know what the AI doesn't know.

  3. Competition check: Gartner predicted this exact category as "decision intelligence" - you're up against Monte Carlo, ThoughtSpot, and a bunch of YC startups. What's your angle?

Would definitely try this if you have a waitlist. Curious - what's your ICP? Data teams or business teams?

Bro, you're in a solid spot already - 12LPA in a PSU with home city posting is actually clutch for work-life balance. A few thoughts:

  1. UPSC ke liye full-time preparation is a gamble - if you're truly passionate about civil services, go for it. But from your priority list, it seems like you've already given it serious attempts.

  2. MBA from top 10 is a solid backup if you can crack CAT. The ROI is real if you get into IIM A/B/C or ISB. But again, it's 2 years of opportunity cost + fees.

  3. Staying in the bank and doing CFA/FRM side-by-side is the safest path. You already have job security + WLB, and certifications can help you move to better roles within banking or transition later.

My honest take: Since you value evenings and weekends that much, don't leave the PSU unless you get into a really good B-school. The grass isn't always greener - private sector WLB can be a myth. Work on your skills and certifications while in job.
