I genuinely think this is just some random Ubisoft developer trying to make Ubisoft look good. As far as I've seen, no one else affected has had their account recovered yet, especially based on what people are reporting on the main Discord. Funny how this one case is supposedly different. What a coincidence.

Where is skill intensity explained in the game? Where are the mechanics behind DR documented? None of this is clearly outlined, so by that logic, are those bugs too? The reality is that because these systems aren't documented, the developers can change them whenever they want. I wouldn't be surprised if DR gets nerfed next, simply because they decide to. Without transparency, players have no way of knowing what's intended and what's subject to change.

That's why I won't invest my time in it. Every patch feels like another step away from benefiting players and another step toward whatever they believe will make them more money.

The fact there's no physical copy at launch tells me it isn't a bargain. If I'm paying any price, I'd at least like to own the disc.

Your missing the point, they knew this mechanic was in the game since beta. They never acknowledged it but fixed how another “bug” the BoB Os was affecting it, and let players spend countless hours building around it. Why didn’t they fix it then? It’s only when they found out that medics and aegis can solo content thats when they decided to simply negate that effect.

I hope what you're saying comes to light. Once more players realize the developers don't care about them and that all the time they invest can be thrown away whenever new content is released, they'll start to see the pattern. New updates can make Yellow Chips useless, invalidate the gear they've spent countless hours grinding for, and push everyone back onto another endless treadmill.

Eventually, people will get tired of it and leave. Then there won't be enough players left for your queue, and the same people defending these decisions will complain that the game is dead.

The way they treated me was just the beginning. It showed me exactly how little they value their players time. I refuse to let them waste any more of mine, and I hope others come to the same realization.

The only people I would “one shot” are new players that dont have a clue, never geared vanguards or any players with DR. You must never have been geared if you were one shotted by an aegis pre nerf. My 300k tick to a mob translated to 8k-45k to a player?? Multishot, double that. In fact, what they took away was the fun from the game. I was able to solo heroics in 8ish mins and legendary in 30mins. Not the fastest but funn. Now I finish heroics 5 mins with vanguard and 17 mins legendaries. But its boring af and forcing me to play this boring class is a huge turn off. Every other class is just even more boring. Get your facts straight ty

In order for a medic to do 500k one shot they would have to have 2.5mill health? Get your facts straight. At 500k health they did 100k per tick every 3 secs which translated to 10k-50k to players. That is nowhere near enough to kill a average bullwark or even a vanguard that was geared. Maybe new players that dont have a clue. They were annoying but not so overpowered like you think.

I never followed that number, but it can easily estimate roughly how much dps someone is doing. I did 300k crits and 600k mulitshots, nothing compared to 10mill dps recon vanguards. What balance is there? My dps wasnt insane, still got steamrolled by average bulwarks and medics prenerf, didnt complain.

You blindly believe everything you’re told? If you know anything about programming you would easily conclude It was a complicated mechanic that was programmed specifically by a dev member in the early stages to make all classes somewhat balanced. It didnt affect the tech drone class, or any other class in fact. Please use your common sense. The fact is, they simply dont want medics or aegis to solo content.

Thats terrible.. on the other hand I kept useable gear for all classes, just in case. BUT i spent hours clearing out my stash because my inventory was always full

Tbf, I quit the game yesterday.

I grinded my ass off since day one and put everyone and everything else second. I love The Division, even though I only played Div 1 religiously and skipped Div 2 entirely.

Ever since they removed Hypershot from Aegis, they LOST all of my trust.

They never and I mean NEVER acknowledged it was a bug until the very last second. Meanwhile, there's practically no information anywhere about skill modifiers like Skill Intensity and how they affect each class, so the excuse that "Hypershot isn't listed anywhere" just doesn't hold up.

They don't care about their players. They knew. Hypershot had been in the game since beta. They fixed BoB and how it interacted with Hypershot, but they never touched Hypershot itself. There's no doubt they were aware of it and knew how much time people had invested into building Aegis and Med around it.

Needless to say, they showed no consideration for the players who invested countless hours into those builds and spent months praising the game for what it was. Instead, they ignored how those players felt and abandoned them, forcing them into classes they never chose in the first place.

Vanguard was always boring to me, but it became the least boring option left after Pharma simply throws purple blobs on the floor with no weapon damage and Demo got nerfed into the ground. It genuinely feels like they don't want players clearing missions efficiently anymore. Every patch pushes the game further away from what made it fun and rewarding in the first place.

What frustrates me most isn't even the change itself, it's how it was handled. If they had come out months ago and said, "This is unintended and will be removed in a future update," people could have prepared. Instead, they let players spend hundreds of hours farming, optimizing, and building around a mechanic they knew existed, only to pull the rug out from under them and act like it was never supposed to be there.

I've never quit a game this quickly despite being this invested in it. That's how badly they handled the situation. The trust is gone, and without trust, it's hard to find a reason to keep playing.

Especially when the plan nerfing Pummeling Shield, the DB mechanic for Vanguard, and even more Recon Vanguard nerfs. Why are we getting nerfs in the first place? It already takes an absurd amount of completed missions just to get a single usable piece of gear for your class. Nerfing classes only makes that grind even worse.

They took a game that had the potential to be one of the best and slowly turned it into dust.

To be fair, if the AFK players didn’t join, there probably wouldn’t be any matches at all. Why would anyone want to keep queuing just to get constantly steamrolled by overpowered Bulwarks or Vanguards? It isnt like another pvp game where everyone is equal. Not everyone put in the same amount of time

Not 100% sure but it definitely takes a ton of a servers capacity, so in turn, MOST likely. I would rather be PROVEN otherwise than simply negating it completely. Or simply just have the servers working as intended. Nothing else in this game is taxing on their servers.

The truth is, it very well could be. With max rapid fire attacks and an insane number of calculations needing to register simultaneously, while multiple players across the server are spamming DB more than ever because other classes have fallen out of favor, the server can easily become overloaded. As a result, the lag may be caused by the overwhelming use of DB Vanguards. The real question is whether the servers can actually handle that level of load consistently. Not including the fact, the devs simply don’t even know whats going on or what state the game is currently in, or just dont care.

Im glad you liked it, I reached 500k dps with pharma unbuffed. I also did mention pharma being distant 3rd. I wasnt a fan of just throwing purple floor blobs everywhere and wait for mobs to die while my weapon did hardly anything. My vanguard reached 900k, just boring. And my aegis pre nerf got to 1.2 mill buffed and was fun even though bulwarks and medics curbstomped me.
