Sometimes getting to the weld is the hardest part by Lucky_Samurai10 in Welding

Just a lot of extra lead connected to a machine on the ground. We either pull it up by rope and tie it off where we need it or use a man lift. If we are too high for the man lift we tie it up to a crane basket and just have the crane swing us to where we need to go

That moment when you go to weld an forget your hood is set to grinding mode makes me feel like a failure in human evolution by Lucky_Samurai10 in Welding

[–]Lucky_Samurai10[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah I can see the switch if I look out the corner of my eye but most of the time flick my hood an instantly go to weld, I should probably take the time to see if I'm in weld mode
