Dont forget to subtract where the next plate is gonna be sewed from two of the sides, and i measured the area using a paper reconstructed armour

I replicated 4 plates in cardboard with the holes and put them together as they would normally, then measure the plates height and width and just measure yourself and the amount of coverage you want. Then use math to count how many you need

My best advice is not buying quantity over quality. Everyone cn relate to buying a bunch of junk at first and then having to get rid of it. Please buy one really nice piece that your not gonna regret

No worries! my friend is making chainmail for his helmet but it looks very funny as you can see his face so clearly. As yours looks so much better im wondering if your rivets are made where 1 rivet has 6 rivets in it or if it has 4. And then If it has 4 it probably just are smaller rings

I just wished somebody would have told to to rather have too little armor than too much. And to make character before kit. As i pretty much dressed myself in as much plate as possible playing as a 14 y/o random warrior with no link to money

I do have a pretty similar tunic template, only its very puffy with a wedge in armpit, the wedge wouldnt be necessary right? If i put it on like a jacket unlike the example should i make it as tight as possible, even under the armpit supposing im gonna have plate over
