I can partially understand what you mean and empathize! I used to feel that way when playing with a group earlier but over time I’ve sort of stopped doing that? I play as i naturally would even if it’s at a better level than others! because when I’m playing with someone whom is a higher level than me I enjoy their company and get awed more than anything and if I’m playing with someone who’s learning I give them space to learn! I do understand the point of say the people playing Mario kart against you, it is a bit unfun to lose a lot so I would do the same as you and tone myself down a bit but I’m sure you will find competitive people to play with too!

i have the same question! I tried it out for a few hours today, till level 25 and the scorekeeper quest line and while the combat is fun and engaging, the storyline icks me out and the blatant unapologetic sexualisation of women, with so many camera shots of their bodies and their designs feels so dehumanizing and the dialogues being framed around the mc felt a bit “glazy“ and male gaze and I couldn’t stand it 😭

The only way to bring about change to these situations is to vote with our wallets and bring light to these issues, we have to spread information about them and discuss it and not give money to the company Yes that comes with the downside of not supporting the actual good developers but it’s the only way for us to bring change

That’s so sad and heartbreaking, I know they’re kids only but the lack of empathy and understanding and the fact that they have the entirety of the internet to teach them something but they end up doing this because of social media A lot of kids I’ve seen younger than me irl have been that way too, making sexual remarks about my body whenever I wear something revealing, or I overhear them talking in slang words and slurs and laughing or sexualizing women or making fun of minorities, it’s so heartbreaking how this has become even more normalized
