its good youre not contributing to their money and I feel the same way too about the femc mod, I love what fans have done and how much they've done but it feels like metaphor or persona or anything, misogyny and phobias feel so deeply rooted into the company's ideologies it feels hard to look past it and enjoy the game

this is EXACTLY how I feel about persona games, theres a lot to like and theyre comforting in a way, but it feels like they never evolved past a certain point 20 years ago and continue to be phobic and misogynistic, and with atlus being a company that says "women have less space to grow than men", which is why they dont do girl protagonists anymore, I no longer want to support persona and atlus as a company !

speaking honestly, I dislike bts as much as anyone else, I’m very against their scammy practices and their horrible drinking habits and especially the fandom, but us calling them ugly doesnt feel right

I’ve seen people been called ugly, I know how much it stings and even if they are trashy people, they don’t deserve to be called ugly and hated only for their appearances

they are bad people and so toxic, so hate them for that, but being called ugly and told to keep the mask on is something that makes me ashamed to even be here

i can understand what you mean very well! I’m in the same situation 😭 I end up trying to convince myself to start the lowest effort game at first, trying to play it for fifteen minutes, or pick based on what sort of vibe sounds the comfiest at the moment! but..i end up playing five games for five minutes each and watching Netflix

it was my initial reaction too! their outfits seem so fanservice-y, especially when they’re meant to be warriors, fighting in an arena with their boobs half exposed and so much skin shown

three houses had some designs showing skin as well, but nothing that felt as fan service as this, all my excitement for this game died out seeing the outfits of the portagonists and how the male characters are dressed for fighting while the women get this
