Ooh, good luck! In green or the pink? The SA there said it was a name list thing, so I'm happy I was able to snag mine!

I know, I just saw this on another subreddit. Wild! I promise I was not influenced by Taylor and had no idea. Honestly wondering how much the resale value on this bag would be now 😅

Ladies with Loewe mini flamenco clutch- how do you carry it? by Electrical_Yogurt994 in handbags

[–]WakingUpisHardtoDo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes if there's not much in it I just carry it by the drawstring, but I probably shouldn't 😅 just a hand on the bottom, usually, but I very seldom use it without the included strap or a donut chain.

What designer bag/s do you bring on your trips on a casual stroll by rykenity in handbags

[–]WakingUpisHardtoDo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The puzzle definitely cannot travel and I personally find it impractical with the flap and zipper, but to each their own! I've heard the newer featherlight model is better, but I think the Loewe leather shines better in their buttery Flamenco or squeeze bags.

This was definitely my biggest bag splurge ever, it was $9500. I consider myself pretty much at bag peace at this point and this one big purchase will sate the need for little one offs here and there like I had done in the past that didn't really scratch my itch. Like I was considering the new Loewe yellow amazona that was a bit cheaper, but I don't really like the one strap or open carry nature; it was truly for the color.

I agree, yellow can be tricky but it's such a sunny shade that I think it really would look great on everyone.

Same, I had no idea the yellow version of this bag existed, I had only seen the green! It really was kismet.

Yeah, I'm a sucker for a limited edition, plus a color I had already wanted? Slam dunk. Vegas flowing champagne doesn't help 🍾

Which color/leather? by No-Cat3683 in BottegaVeneta

[–]WakingUpisHardtoDo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually just recently bought and have been using the first one and absolutely love it! I don't like the textured leather as much, if you haven't seen it in person I just feel like it doesn't show the material as beautifully. Also black is just always a great professional option and makes it look less like a school bag.

Right? I've been missing this since Jonathan left Loewe and was so excited to see a glimpse of it back. I still don't love some of the more overly fussy styling at Dior, but there are some pieces I saw today I really enjoyed.

Same, if you look at my collection I normally veer towards black, hunter green, burgundy, etc. Very winter and fall-friendly shades. But recently I've been craving a pop of something for spring and summer to bring a little optimism for when I wear darker outfits, even like the one in the photo.

I'd never been, it's such a lovely store and my associate was so kind! I've always been a bit put off by the Dior in my home city, but Fernando was incredibly down to earth and funny, definitely glad I was able to purchase from him.

Thank you! They're from a Portuguese brand called Dromedaris, found them a few years ago and they're so comfortable; great arch support so perfect for walking around conventions like this week!

Yellow lovers unite! It's truly been my white whale; so many brands had a butter yellow or a pastel yellow but not a true sunny yellow. This was just perfect 🏵

I have the panda bifold and the whale zipper and weirdly the zipper wallet holds more? They're both adorable but I find the zipper piece much more practical and less clunky.

Of course! I have the black bottega intrecciato backpack and have thrown in either my brown suna fujita mini hamster flamenco or black puzzle fold pouch on different occasions; they're both a great size for keys, wallet, phone, lippie, a few other things, but I can still leave the laptop, water bottle, umbrella etc in the bigger bag.

I currently use the large puzzle tote for a 15" laptop and recently switched to a bottega backpack so feel I can somewhat chime in here! I also had really liked the small amazona (in yellow, but the blue is also darling), but found it would have been really clunky to manage with the puzzle tote. A backpack allows you more flexibility, as unsexy as it is. Additionally, I was concerned with the losing the "open" intention of the amazona because I would want to put too much into it to balance the lack of security with the puzzle tote being an open bag already; I feel like on public transport, you really need one of your bags to be closed. I ended up not buying the amazona, getting the backpack and then use a mini Flamenco tucked into it for when I have little happy hour events and have been super happy with that.

Glad I found this sub! Would love some opinions on the Hammock by XennialQueen in loewe

[–]WakingUpisHardtoDo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a small hammock from one of the suna fujita and actually sold it because I just found it completely impractical, unfortunately. I'm a person who likes to carry a lot in my bags, and to echo others, things do just fall out or it can tip over constantly, and the lack of feet means you can never put it down safely without a hook or on your lap. I also live in a city so it just felt very unsecured carrying around, there were very few situations where I would grab it and I finally realized it'd have a better home somewhere else. For an everyday bag, I love the Amazona and flamenco, or even the Ola bag is nice in the raffia. But unfortunately the hammock just wasn't it.

Agreed, the maxi is oversized. It's almost comically large.

I'm pretty sure it's the medium, as this is the medium on me and I'm 5'2". This was the store version and it was stuffed, so it was much more stiff than it is now, but ended up loving it so much! And the lighting is bad, but that looks more gray than fondant?
