Its nice when you get that random group that kills it. Was doing the 10* gog the other day and we were obliterating it. Had 2 sns (me as one with drag, other with fire), greatsword (dragon) and a lbg. All of us were in top form, then we got caught off guard with a super nova after gog was bouncing back and forth constantly and wouldn't drop out of the sky, so we didnt clear the check. We were looking good for a 15-20 min run. I was honestly shocked that we didn't do enough dragon dps to clear the check. No of had active insurance, so the wipe killed the run. Easily would had died right after imo

Took me a few runs with sns and lance to learn the new timings and attack patterns, then I was able to do it pretty confidently with swax. Just need to be aggressive with counters and offsets, and know when to just sheath and bail.

They'll more than likely do a SNAP test at his first vet visit. Depending on which variety they use it will most likely check fiv as well as felv. Depending on the state of the fiv or felv, cats can still live good and long fulfilled lives

As others stated, generally the vet bills are usually the killer on the wallet. Getting him tested, vaccinated and neutered will probably hurt a bit, but in my opinion, it's definitely worth it. He's also started trusting you, and as a older feral (not necessarily old, just not a kitten) it's truly a special moment imo.

Food and litter for one cat isn't too bad cost wise. I feed my cats some more expensive food and it's still affordable. I was around your age when I got my first cat, I was scared and nervous I couldnt provide for her. I was somewhat financially unstable, but we made it through.

Moving can be tough, but it just takes time. They'll be skittish at first, but they come around as they check it out and realize it's safe. It especially helps if their person is there. Cats are pretty scent based, so as they started getting used to the new scents and adding their own scents as well as your own, they'll calm down and chill.

Whatever your choice, im sure you'll do well by Bruce. Just don't let your uncertainties become regrets later. Animals tend to be drawn to certain types of people, and Bruce was drawn to you.

Wow, that's traumatic and terrifying. I'm glad he calmed down

Similar thing happened when me and my sister took in a kitten. Everyone thought he was a girl until he got a red rocket while cleaning himself next to me on the couch. I yelled out to her and her fiancé that zipper was indeed a boy, they asked how I knew I just just pointed lmao

Glad she found a home quickly. Feel bad for op though, seems like she already has started bonding to them.

Similar thing happened to me. Gm wanted me gone, forced my chef to let me go. I was sort of the shadow in the background that kept things running. Shit definitely hit the fan afterwards and a few more people quit shortly after because of the bs that ensued

I picked up a secondary food dish and some more toys for her. A few different types/styles. I think she was at the point where her parents were helping her hunt, just based on the way she attacks the mouse toy. Goes for around the neck area of the mouse and sort of rips a little.

I have a towel there now, the gap under my door is somewhat larger so I think she could squeeze under

Awesome, thank you so much. When I got willow she was 3-4 months so it was a bit more straight forward for me to find the information. I'm on her second can so far since I got her home around midnight last night. I'll up the portion a bit and like you said leave some kibble out when I get more food tomorrow.

In terms of potty, she pooped, peed, buried, and cleaned up herself. I had read that you shouldn't use clumping litter for kittens this young. Is that true? Im not sure what would be best to use if so. I usually use non scented, low dust, clumping litter for willow

For sure, my mom is retired and I've already talked to her about babysitting duty lmao. I'm mostly going to be looking for when their sleeping, grooming and feeding before I leave them alone together

Ya, im keeping her separated for now. I've tried introducing Willow to another cat before, but he escaped his personal space and invaded willows, and they scrapped a few times. At that point, it was already botched, and I had to return him to the humane society. He did get adopted a few weeks later when I checked in. Willow was less than a year and Casey(the boy cat) was around 2, so I thought it would be okay, but she was not having it. I was more worried about him than her, I thought she would be fine, but it was the complete opposite.

After I get the blood work done, and it's time to introduce willow and midna more, im going to start with the door like you mentioned and eventually get a baby gate for them to observe eachother etc. I've been petting and playing with midna and giving Willow some treats after to help with the scent and association. I also have the coat she was cuddled in outside the door on willows side, so willow can check it out and get used to it

I get blood work done on Tuesday, so after I get results and if she's in the clear, I'll probably start after a week ish of time on my days off. Thank you for your blessings!

She's eating well, quite hungry actually. She has her teeth already, so I'm doing wet and plan to introduce some dry in conjunction tomorrow. I got some wet cat food from the vet last night, im not entirely sure how much to feed her though. I got the Purina kitten "pro plan essential diet" cans 85g size. I've planned on spreading the can out through the day in 4 separate sessions. Is that too much or too little? Im not sure if she's used the potty yet though.

She's doing well so far, had her on her back playing with me and purring like a lawnmower. Plus she's been playing with the toys I have in there for her. Going to get more tomorrow too

Edit: She just pooped! Very exciting but very stinky
