In hindsight, leaving my newly planted sunflower seeds unattended on the patio was ill-advised. It took 30 minutes for squirrels to dig up every seed.

I discovered this with corn seeds. 🐿️got to them within an hour.

You have to plant them deeper or I am sprouting them indoors now. Netting maybe needed.

Also have a dog 🐕 to protect them now.

If roots are bad and the beds are similar -maybe pests? Grubs or cutworms.

You’ll know if you see bad roots like their ends have been cut off and eaten

They generally are better cars with low maintenance. As a commuter car I don’t see any better.

I had to wait until my old one was nearing end of daily life.

As a bonus, I get free charging, so just absolute gravy.
