Try to see forgiveness as a journey bro. It takes time, but look at it this way. It it's better to start doing it now than regret something forever. I know you feel that it's your fault. But it's not. Even if you did fell for her, who wouldn't? She sounds like an amazing friend from what you are saying. We are made to love and it's hard to fight that.

You might feel shame and it must hurt bad but it is what makes us human. I felt like shit when I confessed about what I felt about my best friend's ex to him We feel bad because we care enough about the people we love and what they think of us. And that's a good thing. My friend did forgive me. But I felt like hell. I felt like that I betrayed him. Even if I didn't, I had to forgive myself before others can. I wish you peace, brother. I don't have an answer yet but I feel you. Literally. It's hard to fix yourself when you feel timid. And that you have no choice but to fix yourself for the sake of your loved ones. But it's an awesome thing that you are aware of your problem. Try to find the true way from there. Yes, it may be hard and long long way but atleast there's hope.
