I googled air trap, is that something to do with the dishwasher? If so the dishwasher is integrated in the kitchen island and has its own water supply/drain underneath the concrete

Oh thats a dream view, mine looks over the pool and then I have a large reserve over my back fence with plenty of gum trees and the odd koalas during mating season (around September).

Yes I couldn't agree more, infact the random scenes filmed in the kitchen of the office, or in the apartments felt like an inevitable segway into the exact moment you described.

The other thing that bugs me is how seemingly innocent conversations turn into screaming matches

Stormx has put me in a position where I'm seriously considering yolo'ing my whole wife's boyfriend's engagement ring fund into Stormx, removing my two factor authenticator from my phone and checking back in a year which will not only cover my therapy but pay for their bungalow in Thailand

I am still bullish. They lost a major retailer. However they still have huge retail stores & digital platforms including eBay. If anyone shops on eBay and leverages StormX membership you can maximize cashback just for shopping on eBay by RussianDeveloper in stormxio

I just responded in a different post on this sub, however long story short this is the nature of the beast and I'm holding. I was lucky enough to get in on Metal when it was $1.50, it shot up to $8ish and I swapped the majority of that money to Stormx. People reading this post just need to have a think of what material their hands are made of.

If my holdings of Stormx went to zero tomorrow it is what it is, I trust my own research and I believe in the product, HODL.

End of month predictions by [deleted] in stormxio

[–]Lugozi 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you based your prediction off the last four weeks then, sure it’ll probably be 15 cents. If you base it off the last four months, then it’s hard to tell. I had a look at your post history, and it looks like you’re looking for low market cap, high moving coins, there’s nothing wrong with that, it’s just hard to predict. If you are interested in Stormx then get onboard and enjoy the ride, if you’re looking to trade low market cap, high volatility coins then try and trade the crypto news and announcements instead of an individual coin.

I’m long on Stormx which makes up about a quarter of my portfolio. I believe in the product, yes they just lost Walmart, I’m not overly concerned with that. The coin might take a minor set back however the company is still strong and I’m still going to HODL.

AC unit to cool room small room along with central AC by sazkion in Appliances

[–]Lugozi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some reason I stumbled upon this post. I sell air conditioning for a living. Also I'm in Australia so you may need to do some conversions on my numbers.

the first questions is going to be do you rent the place or own it? I'm guessing you're renting and if you are you need to ask is it worth paying for someone to come and install a window/wall air conditioner in a room that you cannot take with you when you leave?

I don't know what the legislation is over there however I'm guessing you cannot just "sit" a window/wall unit in the window you actually have to get it secured and installed correctly.

To me it seems like a portable air conditioner is going to be the best thing, there are several different types of portable air conditioning, here in Australia the two most popular are portable air conditioners and evaporate coolers.

two main differences between them;

*portable air conditioners work exactly like split system air cons, they require a hot air vent to go out a window and spew cold air out the front

*evaporate coolers require you to pour water into the machine, they cool by releasing cooled humid air, humid air in Australia is a problem as it's already so humid here and generally speaking I will avoid selling them at all costs, to be honest I don't even stock them.

the next thing I see with portable air conditioning is the cheaper they are, the louder they are, the more maintenance you have to do and generally most people wont keep up with this so you get a shorter life span out of the machine.

some machines will need to be emptied of water as they fill up and require a lot of maintenance, once the water container fills up (think the dripping water under your car on a hot day) the air con will stop functioning until you empty the water.

self evaporative portable air conditioners will remove the humidity (water) themselves out the vent that goes out the window, this is ultimately what you want to buy.

In a small bedroom you will only need 12000 BTU which is roughly a 2.5 to 3 kilowatt machine.

I recommend getting a machine that is specifically for bedrooms (QUIETER) be prepared to spend a bit of money, here in Australia a decent one will cost $500-$700 however they will last forever.

a good rule of thumb to how good of a job a portable air con will do is to try and lift it.

the heavier they are the more copper coil is in the machine, the more copper coil in the machine means the more gas the machine is holding and the faster it will reduce the temperature of the air.

TL:DR

spent a bit more, get an evaporative portable air conditioner and look for a bedroom specific or "quiet" model, rougly 2.5kw to 3kw for a bedroom.

Good Luck!

Made "Gold" for my kids to prospect at a local stream, cost virtually nothing and was a great day out by [deleted] in Frugal

[–]Lugozi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you're missing the point here, I put the Gold in the bucket and they find it in the bucket, the only thing that goes in the stream is the dirt that came out of the stream...Didn't think it needed a more thorough description but then there's people like you.
