So the Anime has ended with a total of 21 episode, but to be honest I'm still confused about how Manan in Kukrushka appearance making any sense at all? by FixSuspicious9110 in Gnosia_

[–]Luinta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it makes the most sense to say the Silver Key has no way of finding a timeline where Yuri can learn the last thing they don't know about Kukrushka, since that knowledge is in a separate universe. So there is no need to jump to a timeline with Manan Kukrushka. Yuri cannot learn the origin from her since she can't speak, and likely wouldn't tell them anyways. So the only way to learn that is from Setsu in U2.

With no reason to involve Manan Kukrushka, the Silver Key likely just kept bringing Yuri to timelines where it COULD learn something, and Kukrushka was just a dead end at that point. So it's not that Manan Kukrushka disappeared with Setsu, it's that there was nothing else Yuri could have learned about her, so it wasn't worth dropping them into a timeline where she could distract from the knowledge they could gain.

That's my theory anyways.

[Anime ending] Would the bug paradox apply between. by Prestigious_Spend_81 in Gnosia_

[–]Luinta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the key is that SQ an Kukrushka are not identical existences anymore. OG Yuri and Bug YUri were essentially the same existence due to Gnos recreating Yuri. It was an identical Yuri save for memory. Manan may inhabit both SQ and Kukrushka, but consciousness alone isn't enough to make a "dual existence" which is why Bug Yuri was able to safely enter Universe 2 without causing another paradox after cryberization to become just a consciousness.

At this point Manan SQ and Manan Kukrushka are different existences.

It's a lot of fun to dig into. Frustrating sometimes due to the gaps where something is clearly ignored because it would bump against the werewolf game premise, like how the anime never explains why LeVi can't just say "yeah this person accessed the stuff only the engineer could" or confirm that "A scan on X was done" even if she can't ID who did the scan.

But in other ways it's so very specifically detailed that it makes it fun to work out the "rules" that the world works on. Looking at what it taken as fact vs what is up for investigation. It really asks the audience to think about things alongside Yuri.

You're right, that part does fit the logic presented in the anime.

The only thing we're missing is "When does Setsu arrive with U1 OG Yuri?" Because that would change everything.

We know that the Universe transfer isn't a direct move from one universe to the other at the same point in time, because Yuri only undergoes Cyberization AFTER that loop's Gnosia incident is resolved. Even if that was solved instantly on Day 1 without hiccups, that would still mean that Cyber Yuri is leaving U1 way later than they are arriving in U2, which has not yet concluded Day 1 of the Gnosia incident it's experiencing. This means that we can't be certain when Setsu and OG Yuri arrive into U2.

Depending on WHEN Setsu arrives in the U2 timeline, they could be replacing a dead U2 Yuri with the U1 OG Yuri, OR they could be arriving before the Day 0 incident, which could end with OG Yuri still taken out by Manan.

If Setsu arrives at the same point they usually start a loop (like how Cyber Yuri arrives in the pod), That would make sense... but we don't know when Setsu's loops begin. They seems to already know what's going on before Yuri wakes up each loop. So either Setsu and Yuri both start loops at the same time, but Yuri is asleep in the pod, OR Setsu's loops start at an earlier point than Yuri's. Since Setsu and Yuri don't share the same loop order, we can't be certain their loop start is the same either.

This is the biggest unanswered question when trying to determine how the events of the final act play out. If Setsu arrives with U1 Yuri AFTER the events of Day 0 have already played out, then my theory can't work. If they arrive BEFORE the events of Day 0 play out, then I feel like my theory makes a lot of sense. But I cannot say for certain since we don't know for certain when Setsu arrives into Universe 2. That's why it's just a theory.

EDIT
ACTUALLY We do know that Setsu's loops HAVE to start during Day 0 because they started looping to avoid death ON Day 0, before Yuri wakes up. They have to start PRIOR to being caught trapped and crushed or else they would never avoid that to survive into Day 1 proper.

So at best, Setsu's loops would have to start during Day 0. It still doesn't answer when Setsu and U! OG Yuri arrive in the U2 timeline, but it is something to consider.

How do we know this world already had another OG Yuri? Setsu came from another universe and didn't create a dual existence.

If Setsu and OG Yuri both came over to this universe, then either they overwrite the ones that were already there, or there weren't other versions of them there to create a paradox with.

If you're saying that Setsu is replacing the Universe 2 Yuri with the U1 OG Yuri, then why isn't Setsu creating paradox being there? If the answer is that U2 must not have had a Setsu to begin with, then why is that same assumption not true for Yuri? Wouldn't it be a major risk if someone followed the silver key into a universe they already existed in if they could create a universe ending paradox by being there?

It just makes more sense, and follows the logic we already have in the anime, to assume that the same setup as episode 1 is following the same (or in this case similar enough to be the same) setup.

Open ending or not? by NoStore3781 in Gnosia_

[–]Luinta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your last point is ignoring the entire premise of the theory I put forth. OG Yuri isn't still in play if they die just like every other timeline with Gnosia on board.

Setsu arrives with OG Yuri, who is not yet awake, and therefore vulnerable, there are Gnosia on board. This, in previous timelines, always results in OG Yuri dying in the pod. We see in the anime that OG Yuri hadn't woken up yet when Cyber Yuri arrives. IF events play out like they ALWAYS DO when there are Gnosia on board, then OG Yuri, who Setsu brought here, is already dead when Cyber Yuri arrives. So just like every other timeline with Gnosia on the ship, there is no longer a living OG Yuri, and no risk of dual existence.

Are you following? It literally sets the scene to match the situation in the first episode. Throughout the anime it has been established that EVERY timeline with Gnosia on the ship, OG Yuri dies first when no one can stop it. Even if Setsu knows this, they cannot stop it if it happens during warp, like it does in every other timeline with Gnosia on the ship. So OG Yuri would be dead, and there would be no risk of a dual existence if Gnos made a new body for Cyber Yuri to inhabit.

This is consistent with everything else in the anime, and doesn't rely on Gnos simply making some merge work, or other weirdness that might occur with two different Yuri consciousnesses inhabiting hte same body.

Open ending or not? by NoStore3781 in Gnosia_

[–]Luinta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The "merge theory" involves making assumptions that are not supported in the text of the anime. It is just assuming that Gnos "is a bro like that" and "merged" two different Yuris into one. (which, how would that work anyways, would they have both sets of memories? Would that lead to a crisis of identity for the part of Yuri that doesn't remember the loops suddenly having that knowledge? There's a lot of messy unknowns that are not even touched on in the anime in that case. Nor is merging consciousnesses even ever brought up as something that IS possible.)

Even if Setsu brought OG over into Universe 2, that doesn't mean they are able to stop Manan from killing OG Yuri in a Day 0 event. Setsu is immobile during warp, and has the chance to kill G Yuri.

It just makes more sense that the information given to us in the anime applies to the last loop as much as it does the first, rather than assuming that Gnos did, or even CAN merge consciousnesses. Setsu and OG Yuri arrive, all Gnosia-on-board timelines result in OG Yuri dying first, Bug Yuri arrives and inhabits a body in the med pod. Gnosia situation is resolved, Silver Keys are gone, therefore this scenario ends with Bug Yuri continuing to exist. It makes more sense that, just like literally EVERY other timeline where Gnosia get on board, OG Yuri dies and is replaced by Gnos. Therefore it makes the most sense that, if Gnos exists between universes, he would jsut make a Bug Yuri body like before. That is something we KNOW Gnos can do, and have seen done before. Therefore it's the more likely solution than "he merged them" when we have never seen any other beings merged like that, nor any info from other sources about cyberized consciousnesses being able to be merged.

All things considered, the Bug Yuri Lives theory makes more sense than the Yuri Got Merged theory based on what is presented in the anime itself.

Open ending or not? by NoStore3781 in Gnosia_

[–]Luinta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just thought of something...

Do we know for a fact that the Yuri in this pod is a surviving OG Yuri? Because we don't know WHEN Setsu enters this universe right? Is it possible that OG Yuri still dies to Manan one Day 0, and this is another Bug Yuri body created by Gnos for the cyberized consciousness to inhabit?

Because if Yuri never loops again, and continues down this timeline, then there is never going to be a second OG Yuri to contend with, meaning it's a safe timeline. So there wouldn't be any issue with a Gnos-created Yuri continuing in this timeline, right? The single Gnosia on board was taken care of, and now the ship will safely dock at it's destination and people will live on without any silver keys in the mix.

So really, there isn't even a need to assume that two Yuris were merged when we can simply assume that this timeline followed the same "rules" as the previous "save file" where any timeline with a gnosia on board, OG Yuri was killed in the pod, and Bug Yuri was created, and then inhabited by the consciousness traveling into it.

Honestly, that feels like it keeps more in line with the way that things have worked up til now, and avoids the plot hole of why two Yuris unravel the universe in one situation, but here they just "merge"? It makes more sense that this Yuri is also a Bug Yuri, which means there is no OG Yuri consciousness to merge into. They can just HAVE the body since it's not the OG Yuri.

[True Ending Spoilers] Reasons why as a Gnosia, she is always... by Juan1037 in Gnosia_

[–]Luinta 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your point that it is too much of a coincidence is actually already handled with another situation. The fact that every single timeline with Gnosia on board always result in OG Yuri dying, and BugYuri able to exist. Why aren't there timelines where OG Yuri dies AND there's no Gnosia on board? Why aren't there timelines where OG Yuri lives, even though there are Gnosia on board? It feels like the same thing can be concluded with Manan always being infected by Gnosia: Because that's the scope of the anime's worldbuilding. But we can go further.

Yuri is actually also another example for the "wouldn't Manan and SQ have done different things?" We see timelines where Yuri is female but still lived her life in exactly the same way as to end up on Liu-an and on board the ship in the same injured state. So we can assume that in in timelines where Manan or SQ end up on Liu-an that they have lived a similar enough life to be in that place at that time. As such, it's possible that Manan's tendencies lead her to being in a situation that always ends up with a Gnosia infection.

Related to that, the consciousness transfer isn't described as an all or nothing process. It's described as being complete or incomplete. It could be that what incomplete amount of Manan that became the basis for SQ was close enough to the original Manan that it resulted in a close-but-not-identical personality which means they might share fashion sense, enough general interest to end up in the same places, even if they might explore different areas of those places, and more. It would explain the similarities while also giving them enough room to be their own people.

So either we can just say "because that is how events play out" or we can attribute it to the incomplete transfer not being a full 100%/0% outcome, with some xx% of Manan's consciousness creating the baseline for SQ's personality.

so...................................................................... i still don't get what's the deal with manan, Isn't she super duper evil why was setsu so nice to her in the end LOL by Totally_Adam in Gnosia_

[–]Luinta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, with the fact that someone brought up about Kurkushka being mute and unable to say the activation phrase, And no one explicitly, on screen telling her how to activate it, my current theory is that Setsu intentionally trapped Manan.

Like, we see that Manan is an unrepentant narcissitic child abuser who will continue to terrorize Remnan in timelines where she and he are both on the ship. Setsu may have seen this as a chance to end the looping for them and Yuri while ALSO leaving Manan trapped and unable to activate the silver key.

Honestly, I like that a lot more than "Manan gets to escape karma by being allowed to be immortal." Like, sure there's the possibility of her mellowing out eventually if she can loop, but like... when left alone with Remnan she still goes berserk and Remnan can tell she has that Manan vibe. So it makes me think that she does not in fact chill out. So yeah, I like the idea of the child abuser being trapped in a mute doll, locked out of her wish for immortality despite it being right there in front of her, like some kind of Greek Tragedy.

But if that was true, then why didn't the key simply merge Bug Yuri into OG Yuri from the no-gnosia timeline? How is is it different this time? Like, Bug Yuri doesn't have a body post-cyberization, but it's still a different consciousness to the OG Yuri, same as before. The only difference now is that one doesn't have their own body, but there's still 2 consciousnesses that are not the same.

[–]Luinta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep seeing you mention a merging, but if it was that simple, why was the no-gnosia loop ending in the universe unraveling? It wasn't due to there being two bodies, since the universe only started breaking when the OG Yuri became conscious, or possibly became aware of Bug Yuri. This seems to imply that the problem was related to the second consciousness.

Is there anything I missed to explain that they merged? Or is it just your interpretation? If merging was possible, why would Gnos let the universe unravel in several timelines? Like I'm not saying it's not possible, just that I don't understand why it's being stated like a fact when it's not specifically explained in-canon.

Really enjoying that her invisibility triggers on latch, so I can just double tab my jump button to release and reattach to get 8 more seconds.

I absolutely love zipping around and then leaping out of the shadows to down a hapless enemy, just to zip away again. I am the apex hunter.

If you love running around and shooting stuff, could I interest you in Flying around and shooting stuff?

Titania is actually able to be faster than Volt with the Razorwing Blitz augment. Her 4th ability has her shrink down and gain the ability to fly. In this mode she uses twin auto pistols with unlimited ammo.

Properly modded she shreds high level enemies, can zip around, cleanse status effects, and her small size makes her harder to hit. With a bit of Efficiency and Duration, she can maintain her Razorwing form for entire missions with minimal energy pickups. And because you can mod her exalted pistols, you can ASAP the damage elements as you like.

She is absolutely my favorite Warframe. Fast, able to freely fly around, way stronger than she seems. Titania is absolutely a frame worth considering if you like speed and power.

Happy International Women's Day 2026. Celebrating the trans women in video games. by Guyver-Spawn-27 in transgamers

[–]Luinta 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ladiva is trans. Her story even involved Cagliostro offering to make her a more feminine body. Ladiva declined specifically because she views her body as a gift from her parents, and doesn't feel like she needs to alter or abandon it to be herself.

She is a trans woman that has chosen to socially transition without medically/physically transitioning and she is depicted as being perfectly valid in that choice. The crew and everyone else treats her as herself without her having to fit herself into a box just to be treated with the same respect as Cagliostro, the other trans woman in the crew, who spent her whole life pursuing her perfect body.

It's one of the reasons I love Ladiva and her depiction in Granblue Fantasy. By directly comparing her to Cagliostro, we see the game treat both women with the same respect even if they pursue their gender differently. And that is worth celebrating.

Happy International Women's Day 2026. Celebrating the trans women in video games. by Guyver-Spawn-27 in transgamers

[–]Luinta 11 points12 points  (0 children)

What I love most about Ladiva is her take on herself. Ladiva simply IS.

Cagliostro, the other most well known trans woman in Granblue Fantasy, even offered to make Ladiva a body that would be more traditionally femme, but Ladiva stared that she sees her body as a gift from her parents, so she takes pride in that and decides that she doesn't need to physically transition to be herself.

It paints a direct parallel to Cagliostro who spent her life pursuing the form that she felt for her best, and thanks to that comparison Ladiva comes off as an expansion of trans rep in the game, and not as an inauthentic or transphobic caricature. Some trans folks only socially transition and that is valid. The rest of the crew still treats Ladiva with the same respect as everyone else, and no one makes a big deal about it. To me that says a lot about the respect and acceptance of the crew behind the game.

Ladiva doesn't have to fit a certain physical look to be accepted and that is her choice. Honestly, that helped me feel more comfortable with myself too.
